I was woken up by Miller this morning. He was sitting on the ground against my bed. "Mornin." I mumbled. My hair was everywhere, I started pulling it up into a pony tail. "You can see and talk to your parents on the radio." Miller said casually. I froze, in the middle of putting up my hair. "What?" I asked. He turned smiling and looked at me. "You can thank Raven." He said laughing. I let my hair fall and jumped out of bed. "You are joking!" I said as Miller got up. "No!" He laughed. "Oh my god!" I yelled jumping and hugging Miller. Miller laughed in my ear. I let go and ran out of my tent. I ran into the drop ship and into Raven. "Woah there!" She said, smiling. "Radio is that way." She said pushing me. I laughed at her. I walked into the sectioned off area. Chancellor Jaha was on the screen. I put on the head phones. "Chancellor." I greeted. "Ahh, I know who you are waiting for, one moment." He said, getting up. Only a minute later I saw my mom slowly sit down. Her face looked nervous. "Y/N?" She asked. "Hi mom." I said smiling. "Oh my god it's really you!" She smiled. I could feel tears about to fall. "Where's dad?" I asked. She turned to the side and motioned with her arm. Dad leaned down and smiled. "Dad!" I said smiling. "Dear, I miss you!" He waved. "Tell us, how is Earth? What has happened down there? We've been so worried. We didn't know when they sent you down." Mom asked. I smiled and looked down at my lap. "A- a lot. Earth is... different." I mumbled. "Y/N?" Mom asked. "I just... I miss you both. Things are different here. We've lost a lot of our people." I wiped away the start of tears. Mom whispered to dad and he left. "A boy?" She asked. I nodded. I explained everything that had happened to Murphy. She didn't seem too happy that I was with a criminal. Miller knocked on the metal of the wall. "Hey.. sorry but I've got to meet with some parents." He said. I cleared my throat. "Oh.. uh yeah. One second." I said. He left quickly. "Y/N?!" Mom asked. "I'm sorry, but I've gotta go. I love you both." I said as dad reappeared. "Wait! No... We love you." They said quickly. I saw their disappointed faces leaving. I sighed. God that was hard to do. Miller walked in. "Hey there." He said. I got up. "Good luck. Work time." I bumped his shoulder and looked down. "Yeah I need all the luck I can get." He said. I went over to the food area and started sorting, anything to take my mind off that conversation.

....

Miller had gone up to see Bellamy and the grounder just a few minutes ago. Next thing I know here he is stumbling out of the drop ship. "Y/N? Y/N!" I heard Miller yelling. I looked up and saw his bloody nose. "Miller!" I cried, jumping up. I grabbed a cloth and held it to his face. "Damn grounder hit me!" He yelled. Some people had gathered around us. "To the tents. NOW." I ordered him. "I got to go back to guarding him, so hurry." Miller said, rushing along. Once in my tent, I sat him down. His nose had stopped bleeding. I wiped away the blood. "Thanks." Miller smirked. "Well we wouldn't be here if you were nicer to him." I said quietly. I felt Miller freeze. "Not when he just wants us all dead." He responded coldly. "Okay out. Go back to work." I said, pushing him out."Wait, I'm sorry, that was harsh." Miller said. "It's fine. But seriously, go!" I laughed. I went back to work too. We had some type of peanuts here to sort through.    Monty and Jasper ate them as we sorted. Bellamy came walking out of the drop ship. Monty and Jasper were talking and throwing peanuts back and forth. "Hey hey hey!" Jasper laughs as he catches one. He and Monty did a handshake. A shook my head, smiling. "Dorks." I muttered under my breath. They made this all a little easier to stand.

...

Bellamy walked over to where I was working. He had a bag and gear. "Going on an adventure?" I joked. He smirked. Clarke came towards us while Bellamy loaded up on mini bags of peanuts. "That's a lot of rations. You do realize this is a day trip." Clarke said staring at him. "A lot can happen in a day." Bellamy said, not looking up. They walked towards the entrance of the camp. Octavia walked out of the drop ship and stared at Bellamy. She went back in after a minute. Octavia was stubborn but she had her reasons. Clarke and Bellamy left, they had a mission from the Ark.
