"So is Jaha Chancellor again?" Murphy asked while we were eating dinner. I was looking around for Bellamy who had disappeared after he had returned. He must be with Octavia. "I don't think so. Abby is still in charge." I said, shrugging. "Good, I like the doctor more." Murphy added, getting up to put his plate away, he held his hand out offering to take mine. I gave it to him and started talking to Monroe, who sat with us. "Have you seen Bellamy?" I asked her. "Yah he snuck out earlier. He said something about Octavia." She answered. I nodded. It couldn't be safe for any of them if Lincoln was a reaper. I grabbed some extra food. I then headed to medical. I grabbed a lantern and I slipped a few things into a bag and headed to my tent where I knew Murphy would be waiting. "Murphy I'm going to make a crazy decision." I told him. He was already laying down. "What?" He asked. "I'm going to the drop ship. Bellamy and Octavia are there with Lincoln." I told him, wincing as his mouth dropped open. "Why? That's insane! It's dangerous!" He complained. "Not if you come with me." I told him, smiling as he calmed down. He pulled on his boots and followed me to engineering. Raven was hunched over the radio. "Raven?" I said, looking around. The only other person here was Wyck. If Sinclair knew, he would be so mad. "I'm going out to the drop ship. I've got supplies to help with Lincoln." I told her. She almost dropped her tools. "But it's dark!" Raven protested. "Yes I know that, I know my way there. We will be fine." I told her. She looked behind me at Murphy. "There's no way to talk you out of this is there?" Raven asked. I shook my head. She sighed and got up, grabbing her walkie talkie. "Come on." She said. I stopped her. "You've got to lie to Sinclair about this. He can't know I snuck out, he'd lose his mind." I told her. Wyck and Raven both promised to make up something. Murphy and I followed her to a part of fence in the back. "Go Wyck." She said. The power went off. "Here." She said, handing me an extra walkie. "Use this when you come back. You won't want to walk through the front gate." She told me. Murphy and I made our way out of the fence and ran across the open field to the tree line. Murphy pulled a gun out. I raised an eyebrow at him and he smirked back at me.
The trek there was surprisingly easy. It was silent out in the woods like how it was when we stayed at the drop ship. We made it through another patch of trees and I saw out burned fence. We walked past the small graveyard from before. Charred bodies lay scattered around still. Some grounders, some friends. "Come on." Murphy said, pulling me along. I heard shouting coming from inside. "Bell? Octavia?" I called, trying to be quiet. The shouting stopped and I heard someone come down the latter. Bellamy poked his head out. "What are you doing here?" He asked, looking around. We made our way in to the drop ship. "I've got supplies that may help. Hopefully." I told him, pointing to my bag. I headed up the ladder. "Woah, watch out. Lincoln calm down please." Octavia pleaded. "Octavia..." I said, getting up and moving near her. Lincoln was chained up to the wall. It was just like when Bellamy had captured him. Drew and Miller had stood up here with him, guarding him. Finn and I had let him escape without a second thought. "Lincoln?" I said, seeing him growl at us. He lashed out, the chains thankfully holding him back. "This will help with the cuts and gashes." Octavia said, going through my bag. I handed it to her. She pulled out the food and tossed it to Bellamy. "There's got to be a way to calm him down, make him not a reaper, right?" I asked, sitting down on the floor. Bellamy looked hopeless and Octavia just looked uncertain. "He's been gone for over a month. I don't know what happened out there." She said. He lashed out again as she came near him. "Go up behind him." I told her. He wasn't able to turn around, so she was able to clean up some of his cuts. "I think these are puncture marks." She pointed out, slightly horrified. "You should go back. Ill come back to camp in the morning." Bellamy told us. Murphy reached out for me and pulled me to my feet. I left the bag of supplies behind and climbed down the ladder. It felt so odd being back here. Climbing up and down this ladder, the sound of our shoes against the metal floor, the parachute we used as a door. Outside was very different though. Everything was blackened and the skeletons still remained. We walked back in silence at first, Murphy holding my hand as we walked. "What happened with your mom yesterday? I saw you two arguing." He asked. I sighed. "She hates me for getting locked up. Now Im not her daughter anymore." I said. Murphy shook his head. "Jackson was right, you don't need her. You've got us, and Sinclair." Murphy laughed. He was right though. They had taken care of me, kept me alive. They supported me and everything I did, no matter how crazy. Sinclair and I had a strange relationship going on, but he took care of me. I grabbed the walkie talkie. "Raven? We're almost back to camp." I said. I waited for a response. "Okay, we have a problem." Raven said. She sounded stressed. "What?" I asked. "Just hurry back." She said. Murphy and I exchanged worried glances and walked faster. We reached the fence. "We are at the fence." I said. It took a few seconds and I heard the buzz from the fence go off. We climbed back through. I figured Raven would be in engineering and I was right. She stood in front of the radio, Wyck next to her, both looking annoyed. "Whats wrong?" I asked. Sinclair stepped forward. "Oh...." I said. "I cant believe you snuck out!" He said. I could tell he was trying not to be mad at me. I handed Raven back her walkie talkie. "Can we talk?" I asked Sinclair. He followed me out. We sat outside. "Look I know I shouldn't be sneaking out but I had a good reason. Its Lincoln. Octavia and Bellamy are keeping him at the dropship. Hes sick." I explained. Sinclair shook his head. "Something could have happened to you out there." He said. "Sinclair, Im okay. I have to do this. I have to help my people. Our people. I want my friends back." I told him, his expression softened and he sighed. "Ill stay inside the camp. If anything happens Ill let you know. I promise." I told Sinclair, trying to look innocent. Before I could turn away he hugged me tightly. I found Murphy back at our tent, changing. "Hey you." I said, walking in and closing the tent. Murphy smirked at me and pulled me against his bare chest. I wrapped my arms around his neck as he kissed me. We fell back onto the bed. Murphy closed his eyes. "I'm tired..." He quietly mumbled. I rolled onto the bed and laid next to him, surely enough he was fast asleep in seconds.
