I followed Miller into the drop ship. "That should stop the external bleeding." Clarke said, holding a cloth to Raven's side. "I don't understand. How did Murphy get a gun?" Finn asked. Miller looked at me but I ignored him. "Long story." Bellamy answered. I crossed my arms.  "We got lucky. If Murphy hit the fuel tank instead of me, we'd all be dead." Raven said, trying to sit up.  "Wait, there's rocket fuel down there? Enough to build a bomb?" Clarke asked. She looked at the ground below her.   "Enough to build a hundred bombs if we had any gunpowder left." Raven confirmed.  "Let's get back to the reapers. Maybe they'll help us. 'The enemy of my enemy is my friend,' right?" Bellamy suggested. The reapers. Even the grounders were scared of them.  "Not this enemy. We saw them, trust me. That's not an option." Clarke said, looking over at Finn.  "There's no time for this. Can she walk or not?" Finn asked, getting annoyed.  "No. We have to carry her." Clarke told us. Raven looked pissed.  "Like hell you will. I am good to go." Raven tried to push herself up.  "Hey! Listen to me. That bullet is still inside you. If by some miracle there's no internal bleeding, it might hold until we get somewhere safe. But you are not walking there. Is that clear?" Clarke said, pushing her back.  "Yeah." Raven confirmed.  "I'll get the stretcher." Finn said, jumping up.  "Can't run away fast enough, huh? Real brave." Bellamy shot at Finn.  "Dying in a fight you can't win isn't brave, Bellamy. It's stupid." Finn retorted. I rolled my eyes at their bickering.  "Spoken like every coward who's ever run from a fight." Bellamy said, smirking. "Alright, that's enough! It's time to go." Clarke said, stepping between them. "If they follow, it's a 120 mile walk to the ocean." Bellamy told us.  "Look, we're wasting time! If he wants to stay, he can stay." Finn decided, walking away.  "No, he can't! We can't do this without you, Bellamy." Clarke told Bellamy. He looked down at her. "What do you want me to say, Clarke?" He asked.  "I want you to say that you're with us. Those kids out there, they listen to you." Bellamy told her. I turned and walked out, Miller following. "Where are you going?" He asked. I went to my tent without answering. Miller followed me inside. I grabbed my bag and looked around. "Are you okay?" He asked. "Totally." I answered, brushing away a tear. I moved past Miller and made my way to where Clarke and Bellamy were. "Okay, here we go! Guns at the ready!" Someone yelled.  "You did good here, Bellamy." Clarke told him.  "18 dead." He said. "82 alive. You did good." She said. I moved past them and caught up with Drew. Raven was on a stretcher not far from us. Miller caught up easily. "Goodbye." He said to the camp. Fox and Harper walked near us, Jasper close to them. We walked along through the woods. The same woods we had run through multiple times.  "You know the first thing I'm gonna do when I get to the beach?" Miller asked. I smirked and waited for his answer.  "No, what?" Drew asked. He smiled at me, waiting for Millers crazy answer.  "I am going surfing." Miller said. Drew and I laughed at Miller.  "Quiet, keep your eyes open." Jasper said.  "No more woods. Hear the ocean. No damn trees. Just pale blue water." Drew said. Octavia stopped. She put her hand up.  "What is it?" Jasper asked her.  "I don't see anything..." Jasper started to say. I heard a whistling and a blade flew through the air next to me and buried itself in Drew's head. He fell, back, dead. "No... Drew!" I yelled. I reached out for him. Miller grabbed me and pushed me behind him.  "Grounders!!" Jasper yelled out. I grabbed Fox's arm and pulled her with me. "GO!" Miller shoved me. We ran back towards camp. I turned and saw Miller with Drew's body.  "Go, go, go!" A guy yelled near me. We ran back inside the camp. "Shut the gate!" Someone yelled. Finn and another guy grabbed Raven and helped her back quickly. Once everyone was inside the gate was slammed shut. Miller dropped Drew's body by the fire pit. I grabbed Miller's arm and he wrapped it around me. Drew was dead. I just didn't want to believe it. "Where are they? Why aren't they attacking?" People shouted. Besides panicking, others were in defensive positions. "Lincoln said the scouts would be the first to arrive." Clarke said from the wall. She looked over to Finn. "If it's just scouts, we can fight our way out. That's what Lincoln would do." Octavia told them. Bellamy turned and glared. "We're done doing what that grounder would do. We tried it and now Drew is dead. You want to be next?" Bellamy asked Octavia, he jumped down from the wall. "That grounder saved our lives. I agree with Octavia. For all we know, there's one scout out there." Finn said, defending Octavia. "One scout with insanely good aim." Jasper added. "Clarke, we can still do this." Octavia begged. "Looking to you, Princess. What's it gonna be? Run and get picked off out in the open, or stand and fight back?" Bellamy asked. Everyone was in a group now, waiting. Clarke turned and looked out again. She jumped down from the wall and Finn was there to stop her. "Clarke. If we're still here when Tristan gets here..." Finn started. "Lincoln said 'scouts.' More than one. He said, 'get home before the scouts arrive.' Finn, they're already here." She explained. She turned to Bellamy. "Looks like you've got your fight." Bellamy didn't wait a second more. "Ok, then. This is what we've been preparing for. Kill them before they kill us. Gunners, to your posts. Use the tunnels to get in and out. From now on, the gate stays closed." Bellamy yelled. Jasper jumped from the wall amd took off running with Harper. Finn looked like he could scream. Miller still stood next to Drew's body though. I looked to him and he just shook his head. Octavia started to move but Bellamy went after her. "O. O! You're not a gunner." He said. "No, I'm not. Like you said I'm a grounder." She said, holding up her sword. Octavia took off towards one of the tunnels. Miller looked at me and went running after her. "So, how the hell do we do this?" Clarke asked. Bellamy nodded to me to follow. He didnt answer Clarke but instead we made our way to the drop ship.

The fighting never seemed to end. The grounders brought down our gates. Our walls. I crouched behind a barrier and aimed at the grounders.  I ran at the grounder in front of me. I sliced at him with my knife but he jumped back. He pushed me down and leaned over me, spear ready to kill me. "No!" I heard. I saw Miller near me. He turned and shot the grounder. Miller ran up behind me and pulled me to my feet. "Are you okay?" He yelled to me. I nodded and he grabbed my hand, pulling me towards the drop ship. We crouched behind a barrier. "Stay here. Please!" Miller said. He got up and ran back out again. There was a gun laying a few feet from me. A dead kid next to it. I grabbed the gun. It had a few rounds still. I heard a scream. It was Fox. I aimed and shot the grounder that was coming towards her. "Fox!" I yelled. She didn't hear me. I jumped up and ran to her. She grabbed my arm as I pulled her back towards the drop ship. "Get in the drop ship!" I yelled. She nodded and ran inside, looking terrified. I heard a cry of pain and saw the guy who had always bothered me. He had always started fights with me. He now had a knife sticking out of his chest. I ran to him, slamming into the grounder. I took the gun and slammed it into the grounders face. The guy below me was still alive. I put my hands around his arms and dragged him back towards the drop ship. He yelled in pain. There was no way we would make it to the drop ship. I stopped behind the barrier as he lay dying. "I'm.. sorry." He whispered to me. "I forgive you. May we meet again." I promised him. He smirked slightly just before he died. I picked up my gun and went back to where the grounder was. I shot him before he could get back up. Miller ran to me. "You need to get somewhere safe!" He told me. "I can't just leave you here!" I yelled back. The hole in the drop ship. It was up high, no one could get me and I could shoot from there. "Please, get inside!" Miller yelled. "I have an idea! Ill watch your back!" I said, getting up. Miller grabbed my arm and spun me towards him. He kissed me. It was only for a second then he pushed me towards the drop ship. There was no time to think. I ran inside, those who couldn't fight sat inside with Raven, Jasper at her side fiddling with the wires. I climbed up the ladder quickly and to the top. I aimed out, trying to kill the grounders. For so many, I was too late. I could see my people, some dead, some dying. They were not the enemies anymore, we needed each other now. I did my best to save as many as I could. Bellamy and Finn were fighting a grounder. Clarke was yelling for people to get inside. "Finn! Bellamy!" She yelled. Miller grabbed her and pulled her back. I was out of bullets. Miller pulled Clarke inside. "Bellamy! Bell! Finn! Run!" I screamed. I felt the drop ship door close. I lost my balance and fell. Then the drop ship blasted off. I saw fire just before I flew back, my head slamming into the wall. My vision started to go dark. I saw fire rise up. Then, every thing was black.
