After a few days things went back to normal. We got rid of the nuts that made us hallucinate. I spent most of my time with Miller or Monty and Jasper. Also I had seen Octavia sneaking out once or twice. When I asked her about it she finally told me. The grounder. His name is Lincoln and Octavia trusts him and likes him a lot. So far, I'm certain I was the only one who knew about them.

Today was a special day. But it was also a lie. Today is Unity Day back on the Ark. Raven had moved the screen out of the tent to broadcast the celebration in space. I helped Monty and Jasper prepare some Moonshine. Everyone was excited about drinking the day away. I will admit that I have already had a drink. "Cheers!" Jasper said, gulping down a cup of Moonshine. "Hey! Save some for tonight!" I yelled, laughing. Now that we had guns, people patrolled the wall 24/7. Miller was on guard duty most of the time and Bellamy usually was too since the incident with Octavia. "Ready for the Unity Day celebration?" Harper asked. She kept looking at Jasper. "Totally!" I joked. I hadn't been celebrating since being locked up. She threw an Apple to Jasper and walked off. "Someones got a crush." I smirked, winking at Jasper. He laughed slightly, blushing. "Nahhhh." He said laughing it off. I rolled my eyes and laughed. I took another swig of the Moonshine and made my way to the group of people watching the Unity Day speech and celebration on the Ark. Chancellor Jaha would be making a speech any minute. I made my way over to the screen. A few of us were gathered, including Raven, Miller and Fox. Jaha came onto the screen. "My friends, this is a historic Unity Day. Every year, we mark the moment our ancestors of the twelve stations joined to form the Ark, but this is the last time we do so while aboard her. Next year, on the ground." Jaha said. Miller laughed, "Right. After we did all the work." Someone else laughed too. "Someone shut him up." Miller said. "You shut up, Miller. No one's forcing you to watch." Raven ordered. Miller huffed but still continued watching. "For ninety-seven years, we have seeked out an existence, hoping that someday our descendants would return to Earth." Jaha continued. "Whoo! Yeah! Monty strikes again! Hey! Call this batch Unity Juice! Who's thirsty? Monty! There you go!" Jasper yelled behind me. He handed me some Moonshine. I laughed at him running about. "Hey. Save me some." Monty mumbled. "Happy Unity Day. Pass it around." Jasper continued again. I turned back to the screen. "To our sons and daughters on Earth listening to this message, we will see you soon. The first Exodus ship will launch in under sixty hours, carrying you the reinforcements that you need, so stay strong. Help is on the way." Jaha preached. That may be true about the launch but my parents wouldn't be on there so it didn't matter to me. "But enough from me. You are all here for the pageant anyway, right?Without further ado, I present the story of us. " Jaha smiled and moved out of shot. There were a bunch of kids holding flags. A little girl stepped forward. "Long ago when the Earth was on fire, through space all alone. Then one day, Mir floated by Shenzhen, and they realized life would be better together. The other stations saw this, and they wanted to be together, too. When all the stations were formed, they called themselves-" She started. The screen went black. "What happened?" A girl behind me yelled. Raven was frozen. "Raven!" I yelled. She looked back. "I-I don't know." She said. She went to check on all the equipment. Miller shrugged and poked me. "Have you eaten yet?" He asked. I smirked. "Yep!" I nodded.

We walked along towards the drop ship. "Best Unity Day ever." I heard Bellamy say. He was standing with Clarke. I waited for Miller to get some food. "Do you really think now is a good time to be having a party? I mean, the Grounder is out there." Clarke said. She seemed so serious all the time now. "Grounders. By now, he's made it home. He's probably putting together a lynch mob. Relax. I got security covered. Why don't you go get a drink? You look like you could use one." Bellamy said, taking a swig of his own drink. I saw Clarke slighty smile. "I could use more than one." She admitted. Bellamy's eyes slightly widened. "Then have more than one. Clarke, the Exodus ship carrying your mother comes down here in two days. After that, the party's over. Have some fun while you still can. You deserve it." Bellamy told Clarke. Miller came back. "What's going on there?" He asked, pointing to Bellamy and Clarke. "Ah not much just serious crap again." I laughed. We walked towards the tents. I grabbed a huge pitcher of Moonshine. "Hey!" I slightly drunk Monty yelled. "Happy Unity Day!" I yelled. Once in my tent we passes the container back and forth. I kept thinking about how Murphy would love this. Just sitting here and drinking all day. I laughed at that thought and Miller looked at me. "What?" He asked. "Nothin." I responded taking another drink.
