I woke to see light outside. I always woke up before Murphy. The blankets were pulled up over us and his arm was draped over my waist. Our legs still tangled together. I heard shuffling outside and Bellamy's head poked in the tent. I grabbed the blanket, yanking it up. "What?!" I whispered. Bellamy smirked. His smirk faded as he looked at Murphy. "Get up. He needs to work." He ordered. "Fine." I said, shooing him away. Bellamy left, trying to hide another smirk. I rolled my eyes and moved Murphy's arm. "Morning." I said, shaking him awake. Murphy groaned. I got up, getting dressed. I threw Murphy's pants at him. He grabbed them and pushed himself up. He leaned over and grabbed his torn shirt, pulling it on. At least it wasn't covered in blood anymore. Murphy looked up at me after pulling on his boots . "Okay, I regret saying I was bored." He admitted. I smiled and walked over to him, sitting and straddling his lap. I kissed him and got up, yanking him with me. "Out!" I ordered. He grabbed a jacket and yanked it on. It was light out but there was no visible sun. "Where are you going?" He asked. I kissed him quickly. "I'm going to find Clarke and keep an eye on the wall." I said, running off. Murphy smirked and walked towards the meat shed.

I stood just outside the wall, watching over Clarke. She was more nervous then usual and after the exodus ship crashed she was pretty upset. Bellamy noticed and walked over to her. "First watch is over. Go relieve Monroe on the south wall. Keep your eyes open. Anything?" Bellamy announced." Maybe the bomb at the bridge scared them off for good." Clarke said. She didn't sound too convinced though. "You believe that?" Bellamy asked her. "No. They're coming." Clarke responded, frowning a bit. Bellamy sighed. "Jasper thinks he can cook up some more gunpowder, if he gets some sulfur, and Raven says she can turn that into land mines. So be careful where you step." He joked as they walked. "Ha! Funny." Clarke said, rolling her eyes. They walked around and towards me. People around me were busy adding to and reinforcing the wall. "What I really need is a thousand more of her tin can bombs I can roll into their village and blow those Grounders to hell. That's what they want to do to us." Bellamy said. Clarke didn't look very happy. "Can't believe we survived a hundred years just so we could slaughter each other. There has to be another way. Any word from the Ark?" She asked. Bellamy looked down a bit. "Radio silence. Finally ran out of air." He suggested. "Maybe my mom was lucky being on the Exodus ship. At least it was quick. No one is coming down to save us." Clarke decided. I turned and left them to talk some more. I made my way to the meat shed and checked in on Murphy and Octavia. "All good in here?" I asked. They both grumbled slightly. "Just fantastic. Clearly." Murphy said sarcastically. I smirked and grabbed his arm as I left. Miller was coming back with Monroe who had been on watch all night. "Go get some sleep." I told her. She nodded and went off to her tent. Drew came in behind Miller and stood waiting for him. "Are you going on watch with us?" Drew asked me. I laughed. "Sorry boys. I'll join you later." I said. Miller frowned at me. "Oh come on. I'll bring you lunch." I promised him. He smiled and left with Drew. I helped Harper with a large piece of metal. "Thanks." She said, once we got it to the wall. "Whoa! Guys! Fire!" Someone yelled. I turned and saw the meat shed ablaze. Murphy. I ran towards it. Raven and Finn getting there when I did. Murphy was holding onto Octavia, covering her and bringing her out. She coughed a few times. Bellamy grabbed onto her. "Are you okay?" Bellamy asked. She coughed and nodded. Murphy turned on the other guy near them. "This is all your fault! We told you it was too much wood." He yelled, jumping at the guy. Bellamy stepped in. "Hey! Hey! Hey, stop! Save it for the Grounders." He yelled. Murphy stopped and turned away. I stepped forward and grabbed his hand, pulling him to my side. He coughed a few times. I pushed his hair back. "Are you okay?" I asked him. "Yeah, I'm fine." He said, wrapping an arm around me. "Come on, I think you need a break." I said, pulling him. We got away from the group. "I swear I'm fine." Murphy said after a minute. I smiled at him. "I know that." I told him. One of the younger delinquents, Myles bumped into Murphy. Murphy glared at him. "Come on." I said, yanking his arm. "He's the one that tied the rope they hung me with." Murphy said in my ear. "Trust me, I remember it all." I promised him. We went into our tent. I hugged him tightly. "Are you okay?" He asked, laughing. I smiled up at him. "Of course." I said, kissing him. Of course not. He remembered Myles. What if he tried to kill him? I shook the thought from my head. Murphy kissed me again. He bit down on my lip. "Hey!" I mumbled against his mouth. He smirked, pushing me back. He leaned over me and pinned me to the bed. I heard Bellamy's voice getting closer, I got up. He looked in. "There are teams going hunting. Come on, you need to keep track of who is going." Bellamy told me. "What about me?" Murphy yelled to Bellamy. Bellamy stuck his head in the tent. He glared at Murphy. "You are staying here." He said before leaving again. Bellamy didn't trust Murphy with anything. I kissed Murphy and ran out. Clarke and Finn were on their way out with Myles in their group. Clarke half smiled as she went past. Raven watched as they left. Most people were leaving. Monroe walked by with Sterling and another guy. Miller and Drew with a girl. Miller squeezed my hand as he walked past. Fox came to my side. "Are you staying behind?" She asked, watching the others. "Yeah, Bellamy asked me to. He didn't want Murphy to leave either." I said. She nodded. "He said I should stay behind too. I can't hunt. Or shoot." Fox admitted. I laughed a bit. Harper patted her shoulder as she went by. Jasper was on his way out as well. Monty watched him leave and disappeared with wire in his hands. Bellamy had ordered everyone to be back before dark. Fox smiled and ran off towards the wall, probably to look out for them. Monty came back with his pack. "Where are you going?" I asked. "Crash site!" He said. Fox jumped up. "Can I help?" She asked. I laughed at her excitedly jumping. Monty smiled and nodded. Bellamy came back over to me. "Murphy needs to do something. He needs to help out if he wants to stay." He warned. "Don't worry about it Bell." I said. He tried to hide his smirk. I saw him glance at my lips again then back up to my eyes. If it weren't for Murphy I bet Bellamy would have tried to sleep with me long ago. I smiled and walked away towards the wall.

I tried to stay at the wall most of the day. Murphy brought me food once. He came back after that though. "You look tired. Take a break." He suggested. I stroked his face. "I can't. I'll be fine." I promised, kissing him. Soon after that, Monroe was back with Sterling and the other guy. They had some small game and lots of fruit. I breathed a sigh of relief to see them. The gate was opened for them to come in. "Monroe! Any problems out there?" I asked her. She shook her head and continued to the center of the camp. Sterling grabbed a gun and pulled himself up the wall next to me. "Anything good happen while I was gone?" He asked, smirking. I rolled my eyes. "Nah, mostly quiet." I said. There was a rustling to my left. I ducked and pulled Sterling. That got Bellamy's attention. "It's me!" I heard. I peaked up and saw Monty. "All good." I called. He thanked me and Fox followed him quickly inside. They carried random parts. "No one got blown up?" I joked. "Not this time!" Monty yelled back. Fox almost dropped what she was holding but Murphy showed up and helped her. "Oh, uh... thanks." She said, quietly. Fox ran off after Monty. Murphy looked over at me shocked. "That's what I was supposed to do, right?" He asked me. I smiled and hopped down from the wall. "Yes, you did good." I told him. "Take a break! Ill let you know when more come back!" Sterling told me. I nodded. "Ill stay within shouting distance." I said. I walked with Murphy to the drop ship. Murphy looked around a lot. I stopped him and pushed him against the drop ship. "Are you feeling okay?" I asked, putting my hands on his face. Murphy smiled. "Like I said earlier, I'm fine." He said. He pulled me forward and kissed me. "I love you." Murphy said. "I love you too." I promised.

Murphy and I sat together and watched who came back. No Clarke or Finn still. Monty was working with Raven on something in the drop ship and Bellamy kept checking in on them. It was mostly dark when I decided it was time to talk to Bellamy. "Bellamy!" I yelled, not sure where he was. He came out of his tent. "What?" He asked. Monty peeked out. "Everyone is back except Clarke, Finn and Myles." I said, I was worried for them now. Bellamy nodded and went into the drop ship to talk with Raven. A minute later Bellamy, Raven and even Monty came out with walkie talkies. "Octavia!" Bellamy yelled. She came over and he handed her a gun. "Whats wrong?" She asked. "Clarke, Finn and Myles are still out there." Raven said. Octavia nodded. Bellamy called over some guys and they followed him to the gate. "Monty!" I said. He turned as I ran up to him. I hugged him quickly. He smiled, "Ill be fine." Jasper called him over. A few minutes later they were all on their way out. Jasper came and stood with me. "I should've left with them." He admitted after the gate closed. He held tight to the walkie talkie and headed into the drop ship. Murphy was still sitting by the fire. I turned to see him practically asleep sitting up. "John." I said, nudging him. He looked around and then up at me. I grabbed his arm pulling him up. "Come on." I pushed him in the direction of our tent. I knew Jasper would come get me if anything happened. As soon as we got in the tent, Murphy was pulling at his jacket and shirt. It took some effort but he got them off and kicked off his shoes. I took of my jacket and tossed it with his on the ground. I kicked off my boots and fell on the bed next to where Murphy was ready to pass out. "I hate that he walks around like he's done nothing wrong." Murphy mumbled. He rolled onto his back. "Who?" I asked. Murphy glared at the tent ceiling. "Myles." He finally said. Murphy hated Myles and I doubt he would care if he came back. "Everything will be fine, John." I said, honestly I had no idea what to say. Murphy would probably kill Myles if he came back. I rolled and sat on his lap, he automatically grabbed my sides. "Things have changed here. We have no reason to fight each other anymore, the real enemy is out there." I said. Murphy eyes flickered to my lips. I leaned down and brushed my lips against his. "Don't do anything stupid." I whispered. Murphy smirked and pulled me into a hug. I rolled over and laid down next to him. Only minutes later he was fast asleep.
