(Very short chapter. Ill try and finish the next one soon.)

Bellamy, Murphy, Finn, Sterling and Monroe had been gone for over a day now. I stood near Sinclair as he stared at the fence. It had finally been finished and now the electricity would be turned on. "Ladies and gentleman! The fence is hot!" Sinclair announced. Those watching cheered and clapped. "Trust me you do not want to go near it!" He added. He turned around and smiled at me. "Lets go find Raven." He suggested. Abby had sent me to work along side Sinclair and Raven. Raven was in constant need of help now that one of her legs was paralyzed. We all worried about her. Especially Sinclair, even though he didn't show it. I figured I should try and help around as much as I could, so I volunteered to work with Sinclair. I followed him to the medical tent. I let him go in and find Raven. I heard him stop and wait for a minute while Raven struggled to stand. "Reyes, there you are." Sinclair said. "Yes sir." Raven said. "Dr. Griffin cleared you for work. Hows your leg?" He asked. Raven got up with her crutches. "Its not a factor. Whats the job?" She asked. "Need you to build a radio beacon. If the other Ark stations have survivors, we need to know." He explained. "I'm on it." Raven said, Sinclair helped her move a bit. "Okay, report to engineering and we'll get you started." Sinclair ordered. "Roger that. Thank you, sir." Raven said, trying to be cheerful.  She moved out of the tent with some difficulty but refused help. "I'm fine, really. Don't worry." Raven assured me. I nodded. "Your stronger than all of us Raven. You can do it." I encouraged her. I saw a real smile spread across her face. She headed off towards engineering. Sinclair cleared his throat behind me. "Wait till she finds out she is working with Kyle Wyck." Sinclair said quietly. I started to laugh. Raven liked working on her own usually. "Okay, lets go make sure this whole fence is live." Sinclair said, walking towards the edge of camp. I followed behind him. I picked up a large stick, almost a branch as I walked. I started to twirl it as I walked. Sinclair looked back at me, smiling at my childishness. We started at the right of the gate. "Go ahead." Sinclair told me, gesturing at the fence. I used the stick and touched the fence with it, creating a spark. "Good, next one." Sinclair said, moving on.

It was almost dark when we finally finished, only having to fix one section. "I remember when you were sent to the ground. The 100." Sinclair mentioned as we walked back to the center of camp. "Seems like forever ago." I said. Raven stood in the center with Wyck, a balloon floating high above them. "That's different." Sinclair said, smiling. "So that balloon beacon wasn't a bad idea." Wyck said, smiling at Raven. "I think the word you're searching for is 'genius'." Raven said, correcting him. Wyck sighed. "You should have been an engineer. You already have the arrogance." He told her. "Oh, that's what they teach you! I wondered." Raven said sarcastically. I walked along side Sinclair as we stood next to them. "Well, that's one way to do it." Sinclair commented. Byrne made her way over, looking mad. "Uh oh." I said quietly. "What the hell are you doing?" She yelled, looking up at the balloon. "Its a radio beacon." Wyck told her. She aimed her gun up. "Wrong. Its a target." She said, shooting at it. "Hey wait a second!" Raven yelled. Too late. "We fell from space in a football stadium, I think they already know we're here." Wyck said, annoyed. Sinclair shook his head. "Chancellor Kane is out risking his life to negotiate with the Grounders. You better hope he's successful, because if he isn't, every Grounder within 50 miles of here now knows exactly where we are!" Bynre yelled at us all. "I expected better, Chief." She said to Sinclair. As she turned away I moved forward, ready to punch her. I had my hands bundled into fists. Sinclair noticed and grabbed me, picking me up and sitting me behind him. "All guards to the wall, now! You see a Grounder, you're authorized to shoot on sight!" Byrne yelled. She glared at us all again before walking off, yelling orders. "You should have let me punch her." I mumbled to Sinclair, crossing my arms. "I would've helped you." Raven added in. Sinclair shook his head. "No, I wont have you getting in trouble. Either of you." Sinclair told us. "Okay, back to the drawing table you two." He told Wyck and Raven.

It was dark now. None of our people were back yet. I still kept hoping they would walk through the gates though. I sat with Sinclair, eating. "Do you think any of our people saw the beacon?" I asked Sinclair. He sat, thinking. "I hope so. I also hope your friends find someone out there." He added. I saw the guards starting to crowd around the gate. I stood up. One raised his gun and fired. "NO!" I yelled. I ran towards the fence and almost grabbed it but Sinclair grabbed me. "No! The fence is on!" He yelled to me. Another shot was fired. "Two Grounders down!" The guards reported.
