"You are not defined by the battles you win or lose, but by the ones you choose to fight."

"We're doing this? Sure?" Kuhu's question made Mishti look at her in an instant.
"Obviously." Mishti replied in a nonchalant way.
"I mean, seriously? You want to let this happen? What if-"
"No what ifs, princess. I'm not talking about some woodo here. It's practical and scientific." She answered.
"Sounds like witchcraft to me." That got a snicker from Mishti.

"Trust me. That is all I can ask you to do for now." She urged.
"I trust you, Mishti. But I don't believe in what you're saying." Kuhu's words made her smile.
"Maybe I'm desperate to let Aisha have the peace I couldn't get when I killed Michael." She sounded completely determined. So Kuhu had to give in.
"I don't think so she will have a good time in there." Kuhu voiced out.

"Hell no."

Aisha's POV

"Maa! I'm opening my eyes." My daughter's voice makes me giggle. She has been pestering me so much since I tied her eyes with a freaking cloth just for ten seconds. Gosh! Just like her father. She can't contain her curiosity. Slowly making my 4 year old walk with me, I remove the blindfold. Seeing Rohit with a cake in his hand and a videocam in the other, Rhea breaks out in an adorable laughter.

"Pa!" She squeals and runs towards him. I follow her so that she doesn't stumble and fall on the rough ground of our backyard, since it's a forest area. We settled in this isolated place, so that we wouldn't be followed by people, or the haunting past. Yet, somedays I feel that familiar knot in my chest, about all that happened. What if we hadn't fled and faced it?

"Rhea's maa, you're not covered in the frame." Rohit's voice snaps me back to reality.
"And Rhea's pa, you're holding the camera in the wrong way." I adjust his hand as Rhea chuckles, clearly enjoying us bickering. For a 4 year old, she's quite sharp and catches things quickly, taking away the burden of explaining from us. But that is what scares me.

"Aisha!" Rohit warns again and I take the clue as I look at the camera. Smiling at my daughter's antics, I sigh and look around the lake. Rohit is around me instantly, wrapping his arms around my shoulder.
"Why are you using your non existent brain too much, nowadays?" He mulls as I slap his shoulder.
"Because Rhea is smart and intelligent like her dad?" He chuckles again.

"Rohit, it's been 4 years. And I can't let that itchy feeling off my heart that something's going to happen. You know by this time it must be ready." I voice out my worries.
"Ah, the Blue File project." He looks down and mutters.
"Are you mad that I brought the topic to discussion?" I ask him.
"No no. It's just that, me and my daughter would never be enough for you to forget all that bullshit." Rohit looks at me wearily.

"Seriously, just listen to what you're saying! I'm worried sick about you and for god's sake it's our daughter idiot!" I yell at him. I never expected anything offensive or hurtful words from Rohit, because well, he's Rohit.
"Aisha, calm down." He laughs as he hugs me tightly.
"I was kidding. I know that the weapon's ready too. That's what my mind's been thinking since days. I didn't wanted to worry you." He explains.

"Atleast now I know why I loved you." I huff out.
"You don't anymore?" He dramatically gasps and puts a hand on his chest.
"Shut up, Romeo." I smack his arm.
"But, why would Papa wanted to do it all alone when he literally could just ask you?" He ponders. To be honest, the very questions cross my mind all the time. Didn't he believe enough to let us know about the things that concerned us!
