"If you're not willing to die for that which you love, then you don't deserve to live for it either."

Mishti sat with a thud as she saw every detail of her father's plan. And of her grandfather's legacy. The city of Bonanza. A mining land that gave you gold just by digging 20 feet underground. It was a treasure land that was hidden, in a far away island. Ravi Varkey had helped a lot for this discovery and also, for something else. The VMS vaccine.
But what shocked Mishti was that it wasn't a vaccine at all. It was a serum. For what? That made her gasp for a second. As a mafia she expected this but not as a Maheshwari. The lengths her father and grandfather went to, to protect their family made her eyes water. And what did she do! She was mad with revenge, that she left it all to kill a fool? And then, she was maddened by the worst fever of all.
Love.

Adyant's POV
I sit with Dad and that annoying girl who had actually successfully completed the mission, in the Alfonso warehouse. I thought she'd be killed. Dang she had some moves. She really was a trained killer. As dad examines the sale of the drugs and talks to the supplier, I take a look at her. She was struggling to bandage her wound in the hand.
"Here. Let me do it." I take the cotton in my hand and she raises an eyebrow.
"Sorry mom, I thought you died long ago. I can do it myself!" She exclaims and snatches the cotton and dettol.
"As you wish mean and emotionless daughter." I scoff and sit back. If she doesn't want any help then it's her headache. Just as I am about to talk to the damn seller, she throws a cotton ball at me.
"Tie it carefully." She says.
"Tell that to your dead mom." I spat and turn away.
"You really are your mother's son!" She shouts annoyingly. Dad looks at me with a stern look, which meant, 'handle the damn thing'. So I go back and drag a chair to sit infront of her. Taking the cloth, dettol and the cotton, I clean up the wound. She never hisses once or winces. Guess she's used to this.
"Yes I am. I handled covert ops and dealt with violence 24/7. So this doesn't give me much pain-Owww!" She screams in the end as I press on the wound tightly and secure it neatly with a tape.
"I don't want to listen about your heroic deeds before you murdered your own and became a backstabbing snake." I smile stoicly and get up.
"I had to! He knew too much." She defends herself.
"And now you sound like someone." I grin sarcastically.
"Do not compare me with your mom! I'm much better than her." Mahira screams.
"Shut up! Just don't talk." I say in irritation and go near dad.
"Is she giving trouble?" He asks chuckling.
"Enough to make me strangle her in her sleep." I hiss and roll my eyes.
"Behave, Adyant." He warns.
"What about the Russians? They already dead or your daughter is not smart enough?" I ask smirking.
"She killed him in the board with a fucking apple knife. So yeah she is smart and dangerous. But nothing compared to you." Dad looks at me worriedly.
"What?" I asked being offended.
"You bombed their fucking base and took off in a chopper that is traceable, that too with Robert." He mutters.
"Isn't that a perfect villain stunt?" I chuckle.
"Well you certainly did that kind of work." He sighs.
"Hey! Be proud of what you are. I am a sick psychopath who loves bourbon. And also the upcoming mafia leader who has zero interest in ludo, chess or whatever fucking mind games they play there. And you are, unfortunately, that child's father." I smile.
