"War doesn't determine who is right or wrong, it only shows who's left."

2021

Slightly panting after the training session with her old man, Mishti removed her gloves and sat with a thud on the ground. Suraj just laughed, still splashing water on his face.
"What? Something's funny?" She asked getting annoyed.
"No. Just that your face screams exhaustion. What happened Mishti?" Suraj questioned back.
"I just feel like I'm going to explode with all the clues in my head." Her sarcastic remark made him laugh again.

"Patience, my child. You have received a tip about Salman? Or Imran? Whoever is it, go and finish the job. What if you find more clues once you interrogate them?" This made Mishti crack a smile. Her uncle knew how to ease her.
"Yes. I'll be going to the pub they're holding celebrations at. Bloody bastards." She seethed, getting up.
"And, drive safely. I know you have a knack to wander around like a kid." Suraj warned her. He had an unsettling feeling that something was going to happen.

"As far as you're concerned, I'll be safe, uncle."

Indeed she was saved by him.

2024

Mishti knew certain darkness had taken over him. She could sense it, since she was the Shadow. But with raising Aisha and her son's birth, she couldn't gain the courage to address that Abir had indeed, changed. Some parts of him, she still understood and loved. But those months spent with his father, Abir had to witness first hand, the atrocities committed by the mafia.

And she had gained a very important intel on her father's vaccine. The VMS serum, not only was a cure but a strengthening dote. It was supposed to trigger a specific gene, that would allow the host body to automatically submit. This was why Michael was so much into this formula. To have a private army of his own, who were genetically coded to answer to him, to bow to him.

But it wasn't his, or Mishti's, since the gene instilled in it was Kunal's.

2029

Kunal was supposed to live. He was supposed to make it out. And that is why Mishti was wary about the consequences of his death. The genes that were originally linked to him, were now transferred to his son and daughter, who were barely 5 years old. So she decided. To take matters in her own hands. Sending Abir away was the only way she could focus on the impending task.

Because his devastation, she could not tolerate. She made a path for him to follow. She built Black Force, appointing mostly Russians, due to the involvement of the new document, the Blue File. It contained the roadmap to Bonanza, a forgotten city. And the coordinates to the satellite weapon, that could eliminate millions at once. Her father was no joke. He built the astronomical machine so that they could have leverage over other mafias.

But the city, it was Drupad Maheshwari's dirt. So Mishti set out, leaving her mafia business behind, to find a solution for all the mess her family had started, as power mongers.

But what she gained was a sword, which had her death sentence imprinted on it.

2040

Mishti restrained to go after her son. She wanted to bid him bye, or atleast introduce herself. But she couldn't. Not with Abir storming on her forces, after he found the importance of Blue File. And the city, she knew she had to safeguard her secrets about it till her daughter and son could come together and face the wrath of mafia, from around the world who thirsted over the gold.
