Children Of God
1John 3:9-11
No one who is born of God practices sin,
because His seed abides in him;
and he cannot sin,
because he is born of God. *9
By this the children of God and
the children of the devil are obvious:
anyone who does not
practice righteousness is not of God,
nor the one who does not love his brother. *10
For this is the message which you
have heard from the beginning,
that we should love one another; *11
Are you a child of God or a child of the devil?
God's Judgment
2 Kings 2:24
When he turned around and saw them,
he called God's judgment down on them.
Two female bears came out of the woods and
ripped forty-two of the boys to pieces.
John 3:3, 16-21
Jesus answered and said to him,
"Truly, truly, I say to you,
unless one is born again
he cannot see the kingdom of God." *3
"For God so loved the world,
that He gave His only begotten Son,
that whoever believes in Him
shall not perish,
but have eternal life. *16
For God did not send the Son
into the world to judge the world,
but that the world
might be saved through Him. *17
He who believes
in Him is not judged;
he who does not believe
has been judged already,
because he has not believed
in the name of the only
begotten Son of God. *18
This is the judgment,
that the Light has come
into the world,
and men loved the darkness
rather than the Light,
for their deeds were evil. *19
For everyone who does evil
hates the Light,
and does not come
to the Light for fear
that his deeds will be exposed. *20
But he who practices
the truth comes to the Light,
so that his deeds may be manifested
as having been wrought in God." *21
Romans 2:5-6
But because of your stubbornness
and unrepentant heart
you are storing up wrath
for yourself in the day of wrath
and revelation of the righteous
judgment of God, who will render
to each person according to his deeds:
Revelation 3:19
Those whom I love, I reprove
and discipline;
therefore be zealous and repent.
1 Corinthians 11:30-32
For this reason many
among you are weak
and sick, and a number sleep.
But if we judged
ourselves rightly,
we would not be judged.
But when we are judged,
we are disciplined
by the Lord so that
we will not be condemned
along with the world.
Rom 8:31-39
What shall we then say
to these things?
If God be for us,
who can be against us? *31
He that spared not his own Son,
but delivered him up for us all,
how shall he not with him
also freely give us all things? *32
Who shall lay anything
to the charge of God's elect?
It is God that justifieth. *33
Who is he that condemneth?
It is Christ that died,
yea rather, that is risen again,
who is even at the right hand of God,
who also maketh intercession for us. *34
Who shall separate us
from the love of Christ?
shall tribulation, or distress,
or persecution, or famine,
or nakedness, or peril, or sword? *35
As it is written, For thy sake
we are killed all the day long;
we are accounted as sheep
for the slaughter. *36
Nay, in all these things
we are more than conquerors
through him who loved us. *37
For I am persuaded,
that neither death,
nor life, nor angels,
nor principalities,
nor powers, nor things present,
nor things to come, *38
Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature,
shall be able to separate us from the love of God,
which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. *39
