12. BLESSED OR CURSED - MARK

1John 3:10
In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil:
whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God,
neither he that loveth not his brother.

My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue;
but in deed and in truth. *18

Mark 16:16
He that believeth and is
baptized shall be saved;
but he that believeth not
shall be damned.

Mark 1:15
And saying, The time is fulfilled,
and the kingdom of God is at hand:
repent ye, and believe the gospel.

Mark 1:1
The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

Mark 12:29-31
And Jesus answered him,
The first of all
the commandments is,
Hear, O Israel;
The Lord our God is one Lord: *29

and with all thy soul,
and with all thy mind,
and with all thy strength:
this is the first commandment. *30

namely this,

Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. *31

Mark 8:34
And when he had called

with his disciples also,

Whosoever will come after me,
let him deny himself,
and take up his cross,
and follow me.

Then Jesus beholding him loved him,
and said unto him,
One thing thou lackest:
go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast,
and give to the poor,
and thou shalt have treasure in heaven:
and come, take up the cross,

And he was sad at that saying,

But Jesus answered the one
who was telling Him and said,
"Who is My mother and
who are My brothers?" *48

And stretching out His hand
toward His disciples,
He said, "Behold My mother
and My brothers! *49

For whoever does the will
of My Father who is in heaven,
he is My brother and
sister and mother." *50

Matthew 4:4; 7-10
But He answered and said,
"It is written,
'Man shall not live on bread alone,
but on every word that proceeds
out of the mouth of God." *4

Jesus said to him,
"On the other hand, it is written,
'You shall not put the Lord
your God to the test.'" *7

Again, the devil took Him
to a very high mountain
and showed Him all the kingdoms
of the world and their glory; *8

and he said to Him,
"All these things I will give You,
if You fall down and worship me." *9

Then Jesus said to him,
"Go, Satan! For it is written,
'You shall worship
the Lord your God,
and serve Him only.'" *10
