11. BLESSED OR CURSED - EXODUS, LEVITICUS

Your future is determined by your relationship to God.

Children of God:

Delivered from enslavement.

Exodus 19:5
Now, therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed,
and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure
unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

Exodus 15:26
And said, If thou wilt diligently
hearken
to the voice of the LORD thy God,
and wilt do that which is right in his sight,
and wilt give ear to his commandments,
and keep all his statutes,
I will put none of these diseases upon thee,
which I have brought upon the Egyptians:
for I am the LORD that healeth thee.

thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself:

Leviticus 19:18
You shall not take vengeance or
bear a grudge against the sons
of your own people, but you shall love
your neighbor as yourself:
I am the Lord.

Exodus 20:2-3; 6; 12

I am the LORD thy God,
which have brought thee out
of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.  *2

Thou shalt have no
other gods before me.  *3

showing mercy unto thousands of them
that love me and keep my commandments.  *6

Honour thy father and thy mother:
that thy days may be long upon the land
which the LORD thy God giveth thee.   *12

Exodus 18:10
And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD,
who hath delivered you out
of the hand of the Egyptians,
and out of the hand of Pharaoh,
who hath delivered the people
from under the hand of the Egyptians.

Exodus 20:11
For in six days the LORD
made heaven and earth,
the sea and all that in them is,
and rested the seventh day:
wherefore the LORD
blessed the sabbath day,
and hallowed it.

Exodus 39:43
And Moses did look upon
all the work, and, behold,
they had done it as
the LORD had commanded,
even so, had they done it:
and Moses blessed them.

Leviticus 27:30
And all the tithe of the land,
whether of the seed of the land,
or of the fruit of the tree,
is the LORD'S:
it is holy unto the LORD.

Leviticus 26:1-13

You must not make idols for yourselves
or set up a carved image or sacred pillar;
you must not place a sculpted stone
in your land to bow down to it.
For I am the LORD your God.  *1

Ye shall keep my sabbaths,
and reverence my sanctuary:
I am the LORD.  *2

If ye walk in my statutes,
and keep my commandments,
and do them;  *3

Then I will give you rain in due season,
and the land shall yield her increase,
and the trees of the field
shall yield their fruit.  *4

And your threshing shall reach unto the vintage,
and the vintage shall reach unto the sowing time:
and ye shall eat your bread to the full,
and dwell in your land safely.  *5

And I will give peace in the land,
and ye shall lie down,
and none shall make you afraid:
and I will rid evil
beasts out of the land,
neither shall the sword
go through your land.   *6

And ye shall chase your enemies,
and they shall fall
before you by the sword.  *7

And five of you shall chase a hundred,
and a hundred of you shall put
ten thousand to flight:
and your enemies shall fall
before you by the sword.   *8
