I shifted in my bed, turning to the side and wrapping my fluffy blankets around me fully. It was quite a cold morning. I shivered beneath my blankets before adjusting again. Curling my legs up to my chest, hugging them tight. I mumbled to myself sleepily, wanting nothing more but to feel warmth again.
A knock at my door startled me, causing me to jump slightly. However I didn't get up to see who it was, I just called from the comfy spot on my bed.
"Who's there?" I muttered in a groggy voice.
"Who do you think?" The all too familiar voice called out as my door started to creak open.
For some reason his voice made me all giddy and I giggled softly. I heard his footsteps creeping closer.
"Morning," I smiled and for a second I even forgot all about my coldness.
"Mornin' babe," he cooed in his cocky and smug voice. For a moment I cringed at the nick name but I brushed it off without a word.
"Shut up," I giggled once more, turning in my blankets to face him, opening one eye slightly.
When I saw him, he was standing above my bed. Smiling down at me. His bare chest was the majority of my view. As my face turned pinkish I closed my eye shut once again. Hearing Kai come even closer and my bed sunk down a notch as he placed a knee there. A wider smile plastered across my face, that just happened to be hidden by my blue blanket.
Now he was leaning above my bed and I could feel the warmth of his breath brush my face. Sending a different kind of shiver down my spine.
"Isn't it time to be getting out of bed?" He asked whilst brushing our noses together and pulling the blanket down to hover over my lips.
"No. It's time for you to get in bed and cuddle me," before I could even finish my sentence, my blankets were lifted up and I felt a warm presence next to me.
The warmth washed me over, like the sun on a hot summers day. A nicer feel to my bed now that I'm not fighting to stay warm anymore. I sighed in utter relief, wrapping my arms around Kai to snuggle myself further into his chest. I'm so glad to have the fine ninja as my dear boyfriend.
