Silence cased the dark room. Not a sound to be heard. Not a peep. Everyone out on their own little missions. Only one remained behind, Y/n. She enjoyed the peace and quiet when all the Ninja had left for the day...or week, or even month. No one could ever tell at this point.
She roamed the halls freely, doing as she pleased. After all she had the whole monastery, might as well make the most of it. It was the middle of the day, the sun sinking in the sky. Getting darker as time slowly passed by.
Now she sat in the gaming room. Playing on the consoles. It was a great pastime. She was too focused on the game in front of her to even notice. The clicking sound of the controllers blocking out any sound. The noise of shuffling. She didn't hear.
When the door flung open, she jumped. Kai standing their. Looking down at her. He smirked. She gave him a confused look.
"What are you doing?" She asked not receiving an answer. He continued to look at her.
She eventually got fed up. Returning her gaze to her game. Not even a minute later she heard footsteps. Now Kai stood above her. He crouched to the floor to meet her level.
"Kai what are you doing?" You asked this time you heard a slight chuckle, "why are you even here? Your supposed to be on a mission.."
"I wanted to see your beautiful face," he said smugly. You gave him an unamused look.
"Are you serious? I look gross," I made a fake gagging face then laughed. Kai didn't seem to find it funny.
"I don't think so.."
"It's a joke kai," I finally look at him. He looked confused, I laughed again.
He stared at me with a bland expression. His cheeks a tint of red. He looked like he wanted something.
"I have to go soon," he spoke
"Ok, well good luck,"
I was about to turn away when he leaned closer and closer to my face. An inch away. Lips almost touching. He moved over to my ears, whispering.
"Can I?" I nod, red as anything
He went back to my lips kissing me sweetly. I didn't expect it to be so nice, so passionate. It was amazing. When we pulled apart he looked at me. Love shon in his eyes.
"Thanks," he said before fleeing the scene. I laughed but a part of me wanted more. Longing for his lips one last time.
