Time skip~
After school, the only people that were left were Rainbow, Applejack, and Fluttershy, since they were asked to help clean up around the caffeteria. As they were leaving, however, they noticed someone pacing in front of the school. Upon closer inspection, they saw that it was Violet. They were worried, since she seemed to be talking on the phone with a scared expression on her face. They decided to see what was wrong.
Fluttershy: U-um, Violet?
Violet jumped in surprise, which caused Fluttershy to jump in surprise as well.
Fluttershy: Oh, sorry. I didn't mean to startle you.
Violet: Oh, it's fine. I just get a little jumpy in the dark. But at least the street lights will be on soon.
Rainbow: Why are you still here? Can't you just walk home?
Violet: W-well, my house is kind far from here, and I'm not really supposed to walk around at night. You know, protective older brother and all, hehe.
Applejack: Where is he?
Violet: I guess he's just running late.
Applejack: Well, we could stay and keep you company if you'd like.
Violet: Oh, no! You don't have to do that! I'm fine, really!
The street lights came on just as the headlights of a car shone on them.
Violet: Oh look, there's Asher now! Gotta go now, bye!
She grabbed her stuff and ran to the car. As the car was leaving, Rainbow gasped.
Rainbow: Uh...guys? Did either of you notice her shadow was missing?
