Everyone stood still for a moments.
Soarin: W-what just happened?
Rainbow: That thing just...disappeared...
Twilight: I don't know about you, but I think I'm gonna go home now...
Rarity: Y-yes, I believe I should be going as well..
Fluttershy: Um, see you guys later?
Pinkie: Uh huh!

A lone figure watched as everyone made their way back home.
Violet2: It was a mistake, trying to attack when they're all together. Those symbols of light are too strong. But apart...
A sinister smile made its way on her face, and she vanished into the shadows.

Applejack walked into the house, only to be interrupted by Applebloom.
Applebloom: Applejack! Where ya been! Granny said you have to do chores before bed!
Applejack: I was just at a friend's house. Tell Granny I can do the chores now.
As she made her way outside she stopped and took off her necklace.
Applejack: Don't want to get this all messed up.
She hung it on a tree branch and got started. What she didn't notice was a shadow slink along the ground. When it the necklace, it vanished.

Rarity walked into her house.
Rarity: I simply must take a shower. I feel positively icky!
As she got ready, she placed her necklace on her dresser. And stepped into the the bathroom. The necklace disappeared.

Pinkie was hopping to the kitchen to grab a donut from the table. Even after what happened that day, she still had limitless energy. She went in her room and stopped next to the pen where her pet alligator Gummy stood. Yes an alligator.
Pinkie: Just a quick snack before bed! You want some?
He blinked. He didn't do much. She dropped a piece in there anyway and flopped down on the bed, falling asleep almost instantly. Darkness seeped in and stole her necklace from her.

Fluttershy stepped out into the backyard and knelt down to gently rub the head of a little squirrel. She felt a tapping on her leg and looked down to see her pet bunny, Angel, looking up at her.
Fluttershy: Oh Angel, I forgot to feed you! Just hold on...
As she walked back to the house, one of her bird friends came and took hold of her necklace and flew with it up to her room.
Fluttershy: Oh, be careful with that!
The bird seemed to nod and left it on her windowsill. After she fed Angel and got ready for bed, she laid down and drifted off to sleep. Neither her nor the animals knew about the shadow that came and left, with her necklace with it.

Twilight was hurriedly looking through her books, trying to make for the day of school missed. She had been doing this into the late hours of the night, and was started to drift off. As much as she tried, she could barely keep her eyes open.
Twilight: Must....study...
Her head dropped down onto her desk as she passed out. As she slept, a dark shadow crept in and snatched her necklace from her.

Scootaloo: And then what happened?!
Rainbow: She just backed into the shadows and left. Look kid, I know you wish you were there and want to everything but I didn't have time to come get you. And after everything that's happened, I need to hit the hay.
Scootaloo: *sigh* Okay! I'm tired too. Night.
She went into her room and closed the door. Rainbow Dash went into her room and flopped onto her bed. The thought of that shadow what's-it just tackling her was still on her mind. She shuddered. She turned over and drifted into a troubled sleep. A dark figure appeared beside her bed, and snatched the necklace from her neck.
Violet2: The ritual is nearly complete.
She backed into the shadows and vanished.
