21-The Search

Rainbow Dash yawned and stretched as she slowly woke up. She trudged over to the door and made her way to the kitchen. Scootaloo was already there.

Rainbow: Morning, squirt.

Scootaloo: Morning-Hey, Rainbow? Why aren't you wearing that necklace this morning? Don't you always wear it?

Rainbow: Wh-what?!

She felt along her neck, but it wasn't there.

Rainbow: Oh no, no, no, no, no!

She ran to her room and frantically searched around her bed for it, in case it happened to fall off during the night. Suddenly, her phone rang on her bed side table. She grabbed it.

Rainbow: Hello?

Pinkie: Dashie! Our necklaces-

Rainbow: Missing, I know! What do we do!

Twilight: I think I read about this in the book!

Rainbow: Twilight? How-

Applejack: We're all here. Pinkie called all of us.

Soarin: Me too.

Violet: I still don't understand how Pinkie got my number. I never gave it to her...

Rarity: Don't question it, darling. Anyway, what did your book say, Twilight?

Twilight: It said something about about the curse and how it mentioned some 6 jewels will thwart the shadow beings! My theory is that she may have stolen them sometime last night!

Fluttershy: O-oh my goodness! What will she do with them?

Violet: That's what we have to find out!

Twilight: But how will we even know where to look?

Rainbow: Let's all look for her together! It's better if we stick together!

Applejack: Like a search party?

Pinkie: Yay! I'll bring the streamers!

Twilight: Not that kind of party, Pinkie. Anyway let's meet by the library and look. Say in an hour?

Rainbow: Sounds good to me.

Fluttershy: Ok.

Pinkie: I'll bring snacks!

Applejack: Sure thing, Twi!

Rarity: Of course, darling!

Soarin: I'll be there!

Violet: O-ok. I'm just glad I won't have to face her on my own.

Pinkie: Of course, Vi!

They all hung up. Rainbow quickly got ready to go.

Scootaloo: Where ya going? Can I come?

Rainbow: I don't know. We're trying to find Violet's shadow...twin...clone...thing. She stole our necklaces and we don't know what she's gonna do with them.

Scootaloo: Come on please? I'll be careful, I promise!

Rainbow: *sigh* Fine, go and get ready Scoots! But make it quick!

Scootaloo: Yes!

Soon they were out the door, on their way to the library. Once they were all together, they began discussing their plan.

Pinkie: If I was an evil shadow monster, where would I hide? *gasp* What about the bakery?!

Rainbow: Pinkie, we already decided to go look downtown.

Pinkie: Aw, you guys are no fun!

As they were searching, they became more and more anxious.

Violet: What is she gonna do?

Soarin: Let's not think about that. Right now our main focus is finding her.

Violet: I know. But I can't help but wonder.

~Meanwhile~

A dark figure stood in a field outside of town. She placed the last necklace a good distance from the other 5.

Violet2: My plan is near completion. Unfortunately, I don't have the strength to finish the ritual. But mark my word wielders of the elements, once I gather enough strength, me and my people will make sure no one will ever vanquish us again!
