Twilight: That's what they're are called?
Starswirl: Yes. They were precious gems forged in ancient times used to ward off evil and preserve the light. But as of yet, they have turned against those whom they were made to protect. However, using the bearers, they will once again be able to protect the light.
Pinkie: Where are these bearers! I'll track them down and get them to help!
Rainbow: Um...he's talking about us.
Pinkie: Oh! *laughs* Silly me!
Starswirl smiled in amusement.
Starswirl: That's the spirit! Now, the way to convert the elements back to normal is not as easy as it might seem. We must retrieve them from your counterparts before they become too strong. Just one touch from you is enough to convert them back to their pure forms. But the danger does not end there. The shadow King will not cease until he achieves his goal. The elements themselves will not be enough to stop him. However, when combined with one of my time spells, we will be able to go back and stop him before any of this all started.
Applejack: What are you talking about?
Starswirl: We will use them to go back in time and stop them from ever rebelling.
