Violet2: This isn't over yet.
Twilight: What are you talking about?
Violet2: That is none of you concern. I will tell you one thing, he who locked my kind away will turn in his grave when my mission is completed.
Pinkie: Who's 'he'?
Applejack2: I don't know!
Her eyes darted around.
Pinkie2: Um, yes you do! It was St-
Violet2: What part of it's none of their concern don't you understand?!
Pinkie2 only huffed and turned away.
Violet2: Now, if you'll so kindly excuse us, we have a mission to complete.
They all turned and walked towards the shadow of the woods behind the field. Then they disappeared.
Rarity: We lost them again!
Violet:...Guys...
Rainbow: Great! How will we find them now!
Violet: ...Guys...I...
Soarin: Did you say something, Violet?
Violet: I-I...don't...
Suddenly she clutched her chest and fell to her knees gasping in pain. They all ran to catch her before she hit the ground.
Fluttershy: Violet!
Rarity: What's wrong, darling?
Violet: So...c-cold...
Her eyes rolled back and she fell limp.
Scootaloo: What's happened to her?!
Twilight: Quick, get her back to Asher!
Rarity: What about a hospital?!
Twilight: I have a feeling regular doctors can't cure this!
Rainbow: You're right. Now help me lift her!
Soarin picked her up bridal style and they all ran towards her house, trying not to be spotted. Rainbow Dash felt a pang of jealousy watching Soarin carry Violet. Then she shook her head.
Rainbow: 'What am thinking? Violet's in trouble and all I care about is...what?'
Before they knew it, they were at Violet's front door. Asher, having heard their footsteps, threw open the door.
Asher: WHAT HAPPENED TO HER?!
Rarity: Sh-she just collapsed! We...
Asher grabbed Violet out of Soarin's arms and carried her to her bed.
Twilight: Wait, I may have something in my book that could help.
She hurriedly opened her book and thumbed through the pages, looking for something that even mentioned what was happening to Violet.
Twilight: Shadow clones...spells...where is it?
Meanwhile, Asher was staring down at Violet with sorrow filled eyes.
Asher: Please Vi...you're all I have left...
Twilight: Wait! I found something!
Everyone turned to her.
Twilight: It says here that after a shadow clone creates replicas of the...element bearers? Anyway after they create the replicas, it says here that their role in the mission is complete, and that it then begins to destroy itself.
Rainbow: Well if gonna do that, why is Violet unconscious?
Twilight's eyes widened as she read further along, her voice growing small.
Twilight: Because when the shadow clone destroys itself...it also destroys its human counterpart...
Asher: Th-then that means...
They looked at Violet, who's breathing was slowing down minute by minute.
