The girls followed Pinkie as she lead them down an old road. They stopped in front of a small house.

Rainbow: So this is where she lives?

Pinkie: Yep! Let's knock on the door, I can't wait to see the look on her face when she hears the good news!

They came up to the and knocked, only for the door to creak open on impact.

Soarin: Do they keep their door unlocked?

Fluttershy: Maybe it's a nice neighborhood?

Rarity: I don't think so, darling. With all they've been through, I'm surprised they even leave the house.

Applejack: So why in tarnation would their door be opened like that.

Rainbow: How about instead of talking we just go in.

They walked inside. A couple things looked like they were knocked onto the floor. They saw a huge dent in the wall, and what looked like a small drop of a red substance.

Rarity: Oh I hope that's not what I think it is.

Fluttershy: Let's keep going.

They came into what looked like a bedroom, with a small bed and a desk with a purple computer, and a few posters on the wall.

Applejack: Y'all reckon this is Violet's room?

Pinkie: Oooh! Nice wallpaper!

Suddenly, the closet door creaked open a little bit. Everyone stared at the door.

Rainbow: Is anyone there?

Applejack: Violet? Is that you?

Pinkie tip-toed towards the closet door ad grasped the handle. She looked at the others, who held their breathes in anticipation. She slowly turned the handle and opened the door.

Pinkie: Violet?

They looked to see Violet huddled on the floor, A small gash on her forehead. When she saw the others, she latched onto the nearest person, which happened to be Pinkie.

Violet: Thanks goodness you guys are here.

Pinkie: Why are you whisper-

Violet: Ssshhhh! Not so loud.

Fluttershy: W-why not?

Violet: Because th-there's...there's...

Twilight: Hey guys.

They all turned to Twilight, who had been reading the book this whole time.

Twilight: This part right here is really interesting. It says here that the shadows get stronger, the more negative emotions the host has. And when they have enough, they become solid. Isn't that fascinating?

The others glanced at each other, before a noise from the kitchen interrupted them. Violet ran to door and closed and locked it, before making her back as far from the door as possible.

Violet: There's someone else here.
Suddenly there was a knock on the door. The handle started jiggling.

?: Hello? Guys are you in there?

Pinkie: That sounds like Violet!

Twilight: But...does that mean...

They all turned to the Violet in the room, as the gash on her head disappeared and her eyes turned black.
