Chapter 5:

"You do realize that Kei had to tell me stories to get me to do this for him."

Chifuyu isn't embarrassed in the slightest as Baji's sister uses disinfectant covered cotton balls to dab at his collarbone. She'd made him shed both Toman's jacket and his shirt so she could take stock of his injuries. His face was scrapped up something fierce, but she'd covered up the worse of it with bandages. Her bronze eyes are focused on her task, but his gaze is drawn to a shallow cut just below her eye. Without thinking, he's brushed his thumb along the bottom of it. She pauses her cleaning to look at him.

"What?" she asks, standing to her full height and putting her hands on her hips.

She's taller than he is, so she's gotten used to looking at him this way when she wants answers. It's both entertaining and annoying at the same time.

"You got hurt." Chifuyu murmurs, eyes still glued to the scrape on her face.

"Chifuyu." He looks into her eyes and sees how annoyed she is. "Please look in a mirror."

She reaches beside him to grab a patch to cover up the scrape that covers his collarbone. She uses more force than necessary, causing Chifuyu to wince.

"Did Baji teach you how to fight?" Chifuyu finds himself asking.

"Kei? Kinda?" She responds, a fond smile taking over her lips. "At first, he wouldn't, but I mean, I used to follow after him in that case. Eventually, I agreed to stay out of harm's way if he took the time to teach me how to protect myself."

"I thought I was going to die when you showed up." Chifuyu grumbles, leaning against the cool bathroom wall.

"I wanted to punch you for lying to me." She responds, cheeks inflamed in a pout.

"Then I might have actually died..." Chifuyu mumbles, thinking of the way Baji's twin's style mimics his very closely.

"Shut up." She grumbles in response, pulling a laugh out of Chifuyu.

He hops off the counter to help her clean up all the medical supplies. It's the second time he's been to the Baji residence. The first time he'd only really seen the kitchen, but the bathroom is well kept as well. It's amusing to think that a home housing the Baji twins could have stayed this proper. Maybe it was because the power duo was only going half as strong.

"Earth to Chifuyu?"

He comes back down to Earth to see a hand waving in front of his face. He blinks a couple of times before turning towards her.

"You ok?" She asks, cocking her head slightly.

"Yea, just remembering some stuff." He states before pulling his shirt over his head.

"About Kei?" She asks, soft smile on her face.

"Kinda." He replies, letting himself out of the bathroom.

"No kidding?"

You're sitting in one of the local parks, close to home. Draken is balancing a soccer ball on his boot as you much on a chocolate crepe. Chifuyu is fiddling with the bandage on his collarbone, probably irked with its presence and unconsciously trying to rid himself of it. Mikey looks bored, but he's definitely listening to the story, cause his lips quirk every now and then when he's amused by the commentary that Draken makes or the annoyance Chifuyu shows.
