Chapter 15:

You stumble clumsily behind Chifuyu. It's hard to guide him with your fingers covering his eyes, but you're managing nonetheless. Chiufyu huffs again when you use his back to stabilize yourself after tripping.

"Want to switch places?" He muses, grin growing when you click your tongue at him.

"That hardly helps me keep the surprise." You huff, glad when your destination comes into view.

"Yea, but we might get there in one piece." The first division vice-captain states, clearly enjoying himself too much.

Despite his dialogue, Chifuyu portrays the image of serenity. His hands hang loosely from his pockets, a lazy grin on his face. You lean over his shoulder, amused by Chifuyu's willingness to comply with your ridiculous request.

"Where are you taking me?" The blonde asks after a bout of silence.

"To your demise." You chirped easily, earning a huff of laughter.

You think you heard something along the lines of 'you already have', but shake it off when nothing changes in Chifuyu's expression.

"Ok. And.... One... two... three!"

You pull your hands away, watching as Chifuyu shields his eyes from the bright sun that was quite deceiving in this frosty weather.

"Surprise." Mikey says, an easy smile on his face as Chifuyu's eyes acclimate themselves to the light.

You watch as his turquoise eyes widen, Mikey stepping out of the first division vice-captain's way to really show him what the surprise was.

"Sorry it took so long. Donno what the hell they jammed in there, but it was a pain in the ass to clean." Draken stated, brushing his hair out of his eyes.

There's grease smudged on his chin and cheek, making you hide a smirk behind the back of your hand.

"You guys... fixed it?"

You think that sparkles would be animated in Chifuyu's eyes if this weren't real life. He's practically vibrating with excitement as he jogs over to his motorcycle. You smile as he bounces around it, really showing how you guys were still kids with the wide smile on his face and the gentle look you manage to see when he thinks nobody is looking.

"Not only did we fixed it, we gave her a tune up." Draken states with an easy grin.

Your head turns towards the door when it opens. Emma bounces out in a bright blue shirt that shows off her shoulders and collarbones. A pair of jeans hugs her thighs a lot nicer than the sweats you've got on. Suddenly, Kei's sweater seems to feel a lot more ratty than it ever did. It doesnt matter that it gives you confidence in a way that nobody would ever understand... Isn't Emma cold in this weather? You blink out of your reverie as the rambunctious group around you quiets.

"Emma?"

It takes you a few seconds to realize that her name had come out of Draken's mouth, given how shocked he'd sounded. Emma is standing on her tippy toes, damp cloth in hand as she barely reaches his chin to dab at the grease you'd seen before.

"How did you even manage to get grease up this high?"

You smile at the pout that deals critical damage towards her target. Draken's trying desperately to hide the blush on his face as Emma works on the second smudge. Chifuyu hasn't looked away from his bike, which causes you to huff out a gentle laugh. Ignoring the lovebirds that really just need to take that step and actually be a couple, you make your way over to the bike, enjoying the way the blonde boy ran his fingers over the handles, as if he was being reacquainted with an old friend.
