After spending her first day with Marcel, Lydia reached out to both aunt Jenna and Stefan to let them know where she was.
Buffy spent a few days in New Orleans with Marcel and his vampire friends. Before she headed back home.
Little did she know that in a few days her past would come back to hunt her, in the form of her older vampire sibling. If she had known she probably would have stayed in New Orleans with her favourite person Marcel.
But Alas she didn't, so she headed back to mystic falls

Meanwhile at the Salvatore boarding house
Caroline is sitting on the couch. Damon gives her a glass of blood.
"Here." Damon says handing the blonde the glass
"I'm still shaking." The newly turned vampire mutters
She drinks. Stefan arrives.
"What happened?" The younger Salvatore brother asks
"Go ahead, tell him." Damon tells Caroline "You're gonna love this."
"I saw Katherine today." The Forbes girl reveals
"Where?" Stefan questioned since he worried about Elena safety.
"At the Grill. I just stopped by to gawk and...quasi-stalk Matt." Caroline stated to tell them.

The flashback starts. Caroline tells them the story. She's looking at Matt; he sees her.
"Do you need a table?" Matt asks
"No, I'm not staying. I just needed to use the little girls' room."
"Skip the teen drama and get to it." Damon demands
"Then I had to pretend to use the bathroom even though I didn't really have to go because I'm a doofus." Caroline continued
Caroline is in the bathroom. She's washing her hands when Katherine arrives. She poses as Elena.
"Elena?" The blonde baby vampire inquires
"Hey, I saw you with Matt, are you okay?"
"Yeah, you know...whatever."
Caroline tries to superspeed passed Katherine, but Katherine grabs her and pulls her back.
"You're good. What gave me away? Was it the hair? Or was it my clothes?" Kathrine asks
"I know Elena is...I know Elena's at home." Caroline retorts
"I need you to deliver a message." The vampire doppelgänger says
"What was the message?" The younger vampire asks
"Tell Damon and Stefan that I want the moonstone or I will rip this town apart until it rains blood." Kathrine threatened
"Even if Buffy in town or not I will still do it" the vampire doppelgänger added on after a brief pause.
"Tell him the rest of it." Damon press
"Tonight, at the masquerade ball" Caroline finishes her story.

The flashback ends.
"Hold on there a little bit more," the dark haired Salvatore says
"Kathrine also says she left a gift for Lydia with Rosenberg," Caroline says confused since she has no clue on who or what a Rosenberg is.
Once care-bear finished telling both Salvatore, the two brother share a concerned look with each other.
