16. Made You Look

"Whatever you do dont push that button." Rocket instructed and Groots little wooden finger hoovered over the button. Aegon peered in. "Now repeat back what I just said." Rocket demanded. 

"I am groot." Groot agreed getting his finger closer. 

"No, no, no thats the button that will kill everyone!" Rocket shouted and Aegon's eyes went wide as his head spun around. 

"I am groot." 

"Mmm," ROcket grumbled as his finger hoovered very closely. 

"I am groot."

"Thats not really going to-" Aegon began as Groot held his finger on the button. 

"NO!" ROcket shouted pulling at his ears. 

"Groot." Cassie warned. 

"I am groot." He answered smiling back at her. Cassie pulled the control panel out, Aegon watched the chord dangling. 

"Press it." Cassie remarked and Groot pressed down repeatedly, laughing as he did it. 

"I was about to do that." Rocket remarked. 

"You honestly think I leave the destroyer button just laying around?" Cassie countered. 

"What?" Rocket countered moving to the chord. 

"What does it do then?" 

"Plug it in and find out." Cassie remarked. Rocket spun the chord in his paws before plugging it in.

"I am groot." 

"He says you can press it and that way if the world explodes Cassie wont be mad at him." Rocket informed him and Aegon stepped forward.

"I'm not going to blow up the world right?" Aegon offered but he did want to press it. Who tells you dont touch and then expects them not to touch? Cassie smirked leaning back against the wall. "Fuck it." Aegon agreed as he pressed the button, Groot moved to peer out the window but no explosion. Groot pressed it again waiting for the boom. 

"What is it then?" ROcket demanded Cassie held up a finger as Aegon and Groot took turns pressing the button. 

"ROCKET!" 

"Why am I getting blamed?" Rocket countered as Nebula marched towards them, fury in her eyes. "I said dont press it."

"You fried my system!" Nebula shouted and Aegon looked at her robotic arm as it sparked, and her eyes swirled around in its socket. He took a large step back from the panel. 

"WHY IS THERE A BUTTON FOR THAT!" Aegon shouted in horror. 

"What can I say, this place is a work in progress." Cassie reminded him.

"Yeah, meet you in there." Cassie agreed pressing a kiss to Aegon's lips. He smiled back at her as he headed to the bathroom, he pulled free his clothes, they littered the floor when he looked at their shower. He knew Knowhere was more advanced than westeros so when he saw the lever he turned it and rain poured down on him. 

"What the-" aegon jumped back. "Its raining in your privy. Cassie!"

"What?" Peter questioned running in. Aegon quickly pulled at a towel wrapping it around his hips. "Oh sorry!" Peter covered his eyes. "Did you say its raining?"

"Yeah yeah cassie said I could clean up but its falling from the sky!" Aegon declared. ''Did I break it! I didn't mean to. Don't send me back." Aegon begged. Peter peeked through his fingers before looking at the shower.

"Its fine. It's a shower. Its supposed to do that," peter assured.

"Shower?"

"Peter get out. I don't share my men." Cassie instructed pulling him back.

"One, gross. Two, thats not why I was-" Cassie shooed him away. 

"I didn't break it." Aegon stated as cassie closed the door.

''Definitely not.'' Cassie agreed giving his towel a tug and her eyes followed it as it dropped to the ground.

"So get the ball in the net, dribble, this is dribbling." Cassie reminded him as she dribbled their basketball on their makeshift court. "Dont run with the ball and... dont tackle the other team like Drax does. He still doesnt understand the game." 

"Got it." Aegon agreed. 

"I want newbie." Peter declared. 

"What?" Cassie spat. "No, Aegon is mine."

"Already called dibs." Peter corrected. "DIBS!" 

"What are we children calling dibs?" Nebula questioned glaring back at them. 

"You know I have never played space ball before." Aegon reminded them. 

"I know but you can distract Cassie if you are on my team." Peter remarked.

"Basketball." Rocket corrected. 

"I am groot." Groot countered

"But yes we are in space." Cassie agreed. "I like it. Space ball." Aegon smiled back at her. 

"I am groot."

"No, you and rocket cheat on the same team." Peter corrected. 

"I am Groot!" 

"You get Aegon or one of the hooligans." Cassie agreed. 

"Cheaters, the lot of you." Peter grumbled. Aegon had never realized how un-normal his life was. He was a prince so he knew he had added benefits but playing ball, eating strange new food, not having rules or expectations to live up to he just got to be normal. 

He also found that he quite liked falling asleep next to Cassie every night. He thought he would be bored of the same girl, as he had been for years but after one night with Cassie he wanted her forever. 

"You got something-" Cassie began as she tapped his chest, he looked down and she dragged her finger up his chin. "Made you look." Cassie purred before spinning around him she raised her hands up and groot threw her the ball. Aegon turned just in time to see her shoot and make it. She did a mini victory dance before they reset, checking the ball. 

Aegon found he liked space ball, Cassie wiggled her hips back into him as she edged him back, her hands up ready for the ball. But Aegon licked her neck as he squeezed her ass and her eyes fluttered. He pivoted around her and got the ball. Cassie bit her lip as she followed him, but he was quick and taller and shot. He was just as surprised as Rocket when he got it in. 

"Damn, my man's got skills." Cassie declared. 

"Nice shot!" Peter declared holding out his fist to Aegon. Aegon stared back at him confused. "Its called a fist bump." Peter remarked.

"Ahh but knights shake hands so both know we are not hiding weapons.'' Aegon countered.

''Are you knight?''

"Not officially, but I am a warrior a soldier. I competed in tourneys and bouts." Aegon corrected. 

"Well, fist bump means good job quicker than a handshake." Peter offered and Aegon awkwardly bumped his fist to Peters. 

"Or it means you are about to be punched in the face." Rocket offered smiling up at them. Rocket punched a fist towards Aegon with one hand and with the other threw the ball. Groot extended up on his tree legs and dropped it in. 

"Cheater!" Peter declared with a groan. "What did I say about that?" 

Aegon had never felt more normal and he loved every moment of it.
