'Before I kill you I need to ask you one question.' Yelea said 'I need to know what happened.' Clint was currently on the ice rink panting for breath.
'It's nice to finally meet you Yelena." Clint offered 'Look Yelena if I told you... Your sister sacrificed herself she saved the world it's what really happened even though you will never believe me but what you need to know is that I am sorry.' Clint told her
'No you're lying.' Yelena shouted.
'Nobody killed her she made a choice' clint told her.
"She's like scary good." Aegon rasped through heavy breaths as he tried to get Cassie free from under the giant christmas tree that Yelena had tried to explode knocking it down onto Cassie in the process.
"Fuck this bitch." Cassie murmured as Aegon broke the string of lights that got tangled around Cassie "That was sexy. You-" she waved a hand at him. "-being your bad ass warrior self is so fucking sexy."
'You're lying you're pathetic you're so pathetic' Yelena snapped, as clint and her fought.
"Any thoughts?" Cassie questioned as she tried to figure out a way to stop her, not kill her just stop her from killing clint but this wasn't just any assassin, she was a black widow. Aegon could only think of one way clint was leaving here alive.
'You're not listening to me' Clint said putting Yelena in a headlock 'she sacrificed herself'
'Stop lying!' she said kicking him over. Clint did the whistle, the black widow whistle nat had done with him. Yelena faltered. Cassie mimicked him. Clint did their secret whistle and Yelena stopped walking, dagger still in her hand as Aegon inched closer.
'How do you know that?' She asked looking over her shoulder to see Aegon and Cassie sliding slowly on the ice behind them
'She taught it to us' Clint told Yelena, 'she told us about you.'
'She did? What did she say?' Yelena questioned blade still gripped in her hand.
'She talked about you all the time... Yelena, she was flying that plane... She told me about how you got separated as kids I asked her if you were here.' Clint told her.
'That never changed all she could think about was that you were safe. She loved you and she always wanted you safe.' Cassie added. Aegon looked to Cassie and thought if his mother could see him now he hoped she would be happy that he was happy, loved, safe. Even if that meant another multiverse and a couple thousand year difference.
'You got so much time with her. If I was there I could've stopped it I could've changed it-" Yelena said pointing the blade at Cassie. Aegon stepped in front of Cassie though, blocking her path.
'Nothing was going to stop her I tried to' clint told her and Yelena snapped back around to clint.
'you should have tried harder!' she barked. 'It shouldn't have gone this way,' she told him tears in her eyes
'She made her choice' Clint told her 'you know Natasha.... I lost her to.'
'She was my sister' Yelena reminded them. Cassie saw her fierce persona breaking, she was tied together with hatred and vengeance but she was unraveling before their eyes.
'She became my sister too." Cassie remarked. "We've been through so much together... I was devastated but Clint didn't do this, Yelena. Clint didn't kill Natasha she sacrificed herself to save the world. Clint was her best friend, he loved her too. She was family." Yelena looked between them through a quivering lip. 'Don't kill Clint, he's my family too." Cassie added hopefully.
'I loved her so much' Yelena told them.
'Me too.... us too. We're gonna have to find a way to live without her.' Yelena walked up closer and closer to Clint putting her knife away and offering him a hand he took it standing up. 'I'm sorry' he told her. Aegon watched still tense as Yelena walked away.
'I'm so glad she didn't kill you' Cassie told Clint hugging him tight.
'Yeah that would've put a damper on Christmas wouldn't it?'

"Are you friends with the Fonz?" Mantis questioned as they had gotten Kevin Bacon through a bit of her trance abilities onto the ship.
"Who?"
"The Fonz. Fonz. He's a hero, like you. Have the two of you ever had a team-up?" Mantis reminded him as they flew.
"Oh. Well, the Fonz's real name is Henry Winkler. And, yeah, I do know him. He's a very nice guy." Kevin agreed
"Would you consider grabbing dinner, like, one time a team-up?"
"No. Eating together is not a team-up." Kevin corrected
"Tell us, what was it like when you had to save a small town by dancing like an idiot?" Drax demanded
"Oh. Well, that wasn't me. That was a character that I played, Ren McCormack, in the movie, Footloose." Kevin informed them
"What?" Drax countered confused.
"What about when you fought and defeated the super-strong masked killer Jason Voorhees in the woods?" Mantis asked hopefully.
"Yeah. Nope. Again, not me. Just a character I played. And he didn't actually kill Jason. He got stabbed through the neck with an arrow." Kevin clarified with a laugh.
"He's an actor! He's never actually saved anyone." Mantis cried out.
"But actors are repugnant." Drax shouted.
"I know." Mantis screamed out as they pretended to retch and gag out. "They make me feel gross and creepy when they pretend to be someone else."
"No. Acting is a wonderful profession. I mean, you don't get to live just one life, you get to live so many lives..." Kevin corrected in a trance haze of calm as he looked between them
"We got girl and boy Quill the worst gift ever. A disgusting actor!" Drax shouted.
"This is the worst day of my life! We ruined Christmas worse than Yondu." Mantis sobbed. "Peter was a child when he left Earth."
"His memory is all screwed up. He doesn't remember things right." Drax agreed
"Kevin Bacon, you have to pretend you're an actual hero, or else Christmas is doomed."
