22. The Next Baby Hitler

'that was fun, really it was. Watching you swing around trying to catch mr electric on a tiny screen... you make me dizzy I don't know how you fly like that.' Cassie remarked once all the villains were all in containment cells.

"We flew here." Aegon reminded her. 

'yes, with purpose and elegance, not swinging around like a monkey.' Cassie corrected.

'yeah swing transportation isn't the best.' Mj confirmed.

"Unless your ship is falling out of the sky. Less elegant." Aegon reminded her. 

"Yet you fucking flew your dragon to check it out. That was sexy... I miss Sunfyre." Cassie declared. 

"He was a good dragon, a good friend." Aegon agreed. 

"Like a real... dragon." MJ questioned looking between them. 

"Yeah." Aegon agreed. "Gorgeous creature, didnt like Cassie at first." 

"What?" Cassie countered. 

"He was worried that you were going to steal me away, but we had a talk and clearly you two became buddies." Aegon offered. 

"He didnt like me?" Cassie rasped bringing a hand to her heart. "And here I thought-"

'alright,' Stephen said seeing the anomaly's in their cells. 'I created a spell to send them back and reverse the spell.'

'what no. what if they die back home.' Peter declared. 

'peter they are already dead.' Cassie corrected. 

'what?' peter and Aegon questioned.

'they just said that each of them is already dead back home, they have been for years I'm guessing. They need to go home and die or else we screw up their timelines even more.' Cassie declared. Stephen gave her a pointed look and her eyes pinched closed. "I didnt say Aegon. He... he isnt a criminal. He is wonderful!" Cassie corrected. 

'no Ms. Cassie, you don't understand I want to cure them, so they don't have to die.' Peter told her.

'even if you cure them, that's a big if, they seem to like being a lizard and mr electric but honey, their time lines are set. Lets say mr robot-'

'Otto Octavius.' He corrected.

'Don't care.' She called over her shoulder. 'lets say he is reformed and you fix him. We send him back and he has a kid. That kid turns out to be the next Hitler. That universe is screwed because it was never supposed to have mr robot back.' Cassie explained. 

'Otto-'

'SHUT UP!" Aegon demanded.  'you are not part of this conversation!' Cassie chuckled leaning into Aegon. 

"I dont understand how you understand all this yet... him." Stephen declared pointing an accusatory finger at Aegon. 

"I'm trying to help you Strange, I scratch your back you scratch mine." Cassie remarked stepping forward. "Come on, just hear me out." Cassie begged grabbing his hand. He was so hyped up he didnt feel her remove his sling ring. 

"I dont want him touching you." Aegon corrected. 

 'Thats not... never mind." Cassie remarked. "They need to go home. Stephen do the spell.' But peter had thought about what his aunt had said, everyone deserves a second chance. He shot a web out and pulled the magical cube free from stephens hands running upstairs and into the new York streets above. Stephen ran after him.

"Should we follow them?" Aegon questioned. 

"I like run from our problems not towards our problems." Cassie offered innocently but Aegon headed up the stairs. "Damn you being a hero." Cassie teased.
