"Im pregnant". Cassie murmured
"Oh cassie that's great!" Mantis declared clapping and jumping up and down.
"I am groot?!"
"The prince?" Rocket agreed
''Aegon. Yes". Cassie hissed. " But don't tell Aegon. Or Peter."
"Don't tell me what?" Peter countered.
"That cassie is pregnant with the silver haired mans baby". Mantis answered and Cassie scowled at her. "Was that wrong?"
"Is she serious?" Peter questioned
"When is she not?" Rocket countered.
Cassie pursed her lips as she nodded ever so slightly at Peter.
"Come here". Peter said grabbing her hand. "Whats that face? I thought you loved him?"
"He hated his children. Hated them". Cassie remarked. "This is still new and damnit I knew I shouldn't have trusted condoms or birth control from Kraglin, they are unreliable. "
"You love him. He loves you". Peter reminded her.
"He hated children".
"No he hated the children he was forced to have with his sister. There is a difference". Peter corrected. "And you said he loved Clint's kids." Cassie nodded slowly but looked back at Peter nervously.
"What if he hates me?" Cassie whimpered
"He could never hate you. That boy is -head over heels, tripping into outer space, do rockets bidding if you asked- in love with you."
"Thanks peter." Cassie whispered hugging him tight.
"You are going to be great mom."

"Aegon. I have something to tell you..."
"Me first". Aegon corrected. "So I don't really know how to do this but we watched that animated theater on the black box-"
"The movie on the television" cassie agreed
"Where that guy fell in love with the girl-"
"Yep. Gotta love sappy romance that ends with the girl turning into a monster and eating his brains out after tearing him apart". Cassie murmured.
"And well... nebula and drax helped me pick it out". Aegon went on.
"Help you pick out what?" Cassie countered
"Now this sort of thing is arranged usually by parents or eldest brothers but I know you do things differently". Aegon went on nervously. His palms were sweating and he had never been this nervous before.
"Cassie will you-" aegon got down on one knee and slipped on some jaxs laying on the floor the ring went flying and cassie saw it sparkle through the sky. "That wasn't supposed to happen." Aegon declared turning to the balcony it was being lifted by Groot his arm extending up the ring placed on a leaf groot had made. "Thanks pal!"
"I am groot. "
"Of course you are invited!" Aegon agreed.
"You speak groot." Cassie remarked flabbergasted.
"I... yeah. Apparently I do," aegon agreed before dropping down to one knee. "Cassie Quill will you make me the happiest man in the galaxy and marry me?"
"Of course!" Cassie declared and he picked her up kissing her until she couldn't breathe. He slipped the ring on her finger unable to contain his smile.
"What was your news?" Aegon remembered.
"Im pregnant." Aegon blinked back at her before kissing her again.
"Im going to be the best father ever!" Aegon assured. "I already got out all the bad parenting on the first two."
"I love you dork."
Fireworks went off around them and poppers popped off into the galaxy a banner that read 'better luck next time pal'
"She said yes!" Aegon shouted "what is that?"
"Sorry!" Mantis shouted up.
"I had no faith in your ability to swoon Quill. Girl Quill!" Drax clarified.
"She said yes!" Aegon declared. A new banner dropped saying 'Drax is the best' Aegon sighed but Cassie kissed him again declaring boldly.
"Welcome to the family."
