Chapter 5: Adventure in bunny-sitting

It's been 3 months since our heroes' victory against Lena Luthor and Team Rocket. Right now, Ash has just finished breakfast and is helping Giovanni with the dishes.

Giovanni: Thank you kindly again for help with the dishes young Ash.

Ash: [smiles] No problem, Giovanni! During my journey in Alola and my stay at Professor Kukui's house, I usually help out with the dishes after breakfast or dinner.

Giovanni: I see! You're mother must have raised you to be a respectable house guest.

Ash: Yep! Sure did!

But then, he sadly smiles.

Giovanni: Is something wrong, my boy?

Ash: [shakes his head] I'm alright. It's just that I never really knew my father.

Giovanni: Well, why don't I be your father figure. Besides, I already see you as part of the family.

Ash: Huh? Really?

Giovanni: Of course! You are my daughter's boyfriend.

Ash: Thanks so much, Giovanni!

Pikachu: PIKACHU!

Giovanni: You're welcome, son! Now, I'll handle the rest from here. You go and be your future wife.

Ash just blushes madly from that.

Ash: Future wife?

Pikachu: [snickers] PIKA PIKA!

Ash thought about what Giovanni had said as he went to go see Zee.

Ash: Zee? You in here?

Zee: [sneaking up behind Ash and covering his eyes] Guess who?

Ash: [smiles] Is it my beautiful magician?

Zee: You guessed right!

Ash: Am I getting a surprise?

Zee: No! I just wanted to play with you because that's what boyfriend and girlfriend do.

Ash: [laughs] Well I like it!

As Ash turned around, he was stunned to see what Zee was wearing. She appeared to be wearing her magician outfit, including the gloves and top hat.

Ash: Wow, Zee! You look amazing!

Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA PIKA!

Zee: Thank you, darling! It's my magician's outfit! [flirtatious a bit] You like what you see?

Ash: [blushes] Yeah!

Zee: I'm glad!

Ash: So, how come you're in your magician's outfit? Not that I'm complaining of course! You look so gorgeous in it!

Zee: Well, I got my first paid performance as a solo magician!

Ash: [happy] [hugs Zee] Zee, that's so awesome!

Pikachu: [joining in] PIKACHU!

Zee: [hugs Ash back] Thank you, dearie!

Ash: So, where's it gonna be held at?

Zee: It's at a children's birthday party.

Ash: That's so cool! Hey, why don't I come to support you?

Zee: That would be kind of you, honey. But, I'll need someone to look after my two magical bunnies. They might be a handful at a children's birthday party.

Ash: Huh? Magical bunnies?

Zee then shows Ash two bunny rabbits.

Ash: Aww! They're so cute!
