It was another beautiful day in Metropolis, and Ash and Pikachu were currently on their way to the base.
Ash: [sighs] Sunny, clear skies, lots of nice people. Nothing can get any better than this.
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKACHU!
Then, Arceus appeared on Ash's other shoulder, but it was smaller than its gigantic size. Ash and Pikachu were surprised.
Pikachu: [shocked] PIKA?!
Ash: Whoa! Arceus?! What are you doing here?! And why are you so small?!
Arceus: It's so I won't be detected! Anyway, I thought you would like to see something that I have added to the team base.
Ash: Really?! Ok! I'm sure the girls would love to meet you!
Arceus: Actually, they aren't at the base. I believe they went to do what normal teenage girls do best. Shopping.
Ash: Makes sense! Let's go!
[Soon: At the team base]
Ash: Whoa! I don't believe it!
Pikachu: [amazed] PIKA...
There in front of Ash and Pikachu was a video phone and a PokéBall Transporter device.
Ash: Incredible! How'd you get this here?!
Arceus: I found them at a scrap yard and I used my powers to fix it up and I brought to this world. That way you can not only talk to your friends in our world, but you can ask them to borrow a Pokémon from them.
Ash: Really?! That's so awesome! Thank you so much, Arceus! Pikachu: [thanking] PIKA PI!
Arceus: You're welcome! Farewell, Ash!
Ash: See you later, Arceus!
And with that, Arceus disappeared.
Soon, the girls had arrived back.
Ash: Hey, girls!
Pikachu: [greeting] PIKACHU!
Babs: Hey, Ash!
Zee: There's my handsome boyfriend!
Ash: Hi my beautiful magician!
The cute couple shared a hug with each other. Then, Kara noticed the video phone and PokéBall Transporter Machine.
Kara: Uh, what the heck is that?
Ash: It's a video phone and a PokéBall Transporter.
Diana: [places hands on machine] Fascinating! How does this machine work?
Ash: The video phone is so you can talk to anyone from anywhere, while the PokéBall Transporter transports PokéBalls from one place to another.
Babs: Ooh! That means we get to see more of your Pokémon
Ash: Sure does! Also, since we have a dance coming up, I have a good friend who has a Pokémon that's perfect for the job!
Jessica: Who's that?
Ash: My good friend, Brock!
Diana: What is this Brock like?
Ash: [as he dialed a phone number] Why tell, when I can show.
Soon, the screen flashed, and an old friend, appeared!
