It was morning time in Metropolis, as Ash, his friends, and the girls were heading to school.
Kara: [to Babs] I still can't believe your Scyther evolved!
Babs: Yeah! And all I had to do was apply some of that Metal Coat!
Ash: Yep!
Bonnie: I wanna see Scizor!
Babs: Alrighty then! [tosses PokéBall] Come on out, Scizor!
Scizor: [appearing] SCIZOR!
Bonnie: Wowie! So cool!
Dedenne: DENNE NE!
Babs: I know! [hugs Scizor] And I couldn't be happier!
Scizor: [blushes] [proud] SCIZOR SCIZ!
Zee: [hugs Ash's arm] And we've got my man to thank for that!
Ash: [blushes] Aww, it was nothing!
Zee: And you don't need to be modest about it either [pinches his cheek]!
Ash: [blushes] [giggles]
Then...
? (Piplup): PIPLUP!
Ash: [gasps] A Piplup!?
Pikachu: PIKA!
Zee: Piplup? [pulls out her Rotom Phone] Let's see!
Zee's Rotom Phone: Piplup, the Penguin Pokémon. A Water type. Piplup is a proud Pokémon and an excellent swimmer, and it has a layer of down that keeps out of the cold.
Zee: Well, it's certainly cute!
Pikachu: [recognizing Piplup] PIKA! [jumps down and hugs Piplup] PIKACHU!
Piplup: [happy] PIPLUP!
Ash: Hold on! I recognize that Piplup!
Kara: You do?
? (Dawn): Piplup!
Ash: [gasps]
Pikachu: PIKA!
Piplup then went over to its trainer!
Ash: [gasps] I don't believe it! Dawn!
Pikachu: PIKA!
Dawn: Huh? Hey! It's Ash! No wonder why you wandered off like that, Piplup!
Piplup: PIPLUP!
Ash: [hugs her] It's so good to see you!
Dawn: You too! [notices May and Cilan] [gasps] [happy] May! Cilan!
May: Hi, Dawn! Good to see you!
Cilan: A pleasure to see you again!
Dawn: You too! [looks at Babs, Jessica, Kara, Karen, Zee and Diana] You must be Ash's Metropolis friends! Mrs. Ketchum told me all about you!
Babs: That's right! My name's Barbara Gordon, but you can call me Babs!
Jessica: I'm Jessica Cruz!
Karen: [shyly] I-I'm Karen Beecher.
Kara: Name's Kara! Kara Danvers!
Zee: Zee Zatara!
Diana: And I am Diana Prince! It is our pleasure to welcome you to Metropolis [holds out her hand]!
Dawn: [shakes her hand] Thank you very much! [notices Zee's outfit] Wow, Zee! I love your outfit! It's beautiful!
Zee: Thanks! I'm glad you like it!
