It was another normal day in Metropolis, as Ash and the girls seemed to be running to catch a ferry.
Diana: [panting] Come, sisters and brother. The twilight of our struggles is not yet upon us.
Kara: Hurry! Before it's too late.
Ash: We can still make it!
Pikachu: [determined] PIKACHU!
Karen: [breathing heavily] Right... behind you.
Babs: It's getting away!
[ferry horn blaring]
Babs: Aw! We missed it.
Rotom Dex: Oh bother! [showing percentage on his screen] The chances of us catching that ferry is 0.000000000001%!
Kara: Nuts to that. We've got places to be.
Karen: [panting] [groans tiredly]
Babs: I'm gonna be late for work.
Kara: Work? I'm gonna be late for the concert!
Karen: Come on, Karen. You can do it. [grunting]
Diana: Ready? Jump!
[all grunting]
Ash: Now, buddy!
Pikachu: [jumps onto his shoulder] PIKACHU!
Zee: [grunts] [jumps]
Ash: [catches Zee in his arms] I've got you, Zee!
Zee: Thanks, Ashykins! [kisses his cheek]
Karen: Almost there!
Jessica: Come on, Karen. Hurry!
Zee: You can still make it!
Karen: [gasps]
Zee: You've just got to try!
Karen: [stammering] I... [exclaims] I can't.
[ferry horn blares]
Babs: Use you sup-
Ash: [as Zee covers Babs' mouth] Bab! Shh!
Zee: There are far too many people around for that.
Rotom Dex: We mustn't risk revealing her identity!
Babs: [sad eyes] Oh...
Jessica: I hope she'll be all right.
Diana: Fear not, kind Jessica. Karen has great strength, yet undiscovered.
Ash: Yeah!
Pikachu: [agreeing] PIKA!
Kara: Yeah, she'll be fine.
Karen: I'll be fine.
Kara: She'll catch the next one.
Karen: I'll catch the next one.
[shutter clanks]
Turns out, tickets were sold out.
Karen: Or not. [sighs] Guess I have to take the long way home.
Ribombee: [comforting her] RIBOMBOM!
Karen: [sighs] [smiles] [nuzzles Ribombee] Thanks, Ribombee. What would I do without you?
Rotom Dex: I simply cannot allow her to walk home all alone! [to Ash] Ash, I'm going to accompany Karen home!
Ash: Okay! But be careful!
Rotom Dex: I will! [leaves]
Zee: [to Ash] That's really sweet of you to let Rotom walk Karen home, Ashykins!
