Chapter 15: From Bat to worse

It was night time, and Ash, Zee, and Jessica, along with their Pokémon were helping Babs unpack her things.

Jessica: Where do you want this lamp?

Babs: Oh, over there.

Zee: dnoura sith evlover ["around this revolve" with each word reversed] Well, what do you think?

Ash: Is it good or what?

Babs: I... [yelling] LOVE IT! [hugs them] It's even better than my old room. I'm starting to think Metropolis just might, sort of, possibly be kind of a little bit better than Gotham. [squealing]

Pikachu: [playing] PIKA PIKA PI!

Lycanroc: [playing] LYCANROC!

Eevee: [playing] EEVEE EEV!

Gastly: [playing] GASTLY GAS!

Duosion: [playing] DUOSION!

Swoobat: [playing] SWOOBAT!

Babs: Careful, you guys!

Pikachu: PIKA!

Lucario: [bringing in box] MRAH!

Babs: Thanks, Lucario! Put it right over there!

Rowlet: [sleeping on Babs' bed] RRRRR...

Jessica: Sleeping on the job! But we don't mind!

Rowlet: [sleeping] RRRRR... [falls off] ROW!

Ash and the girls giggled at this.

Gastly: [scares Babs] GASTLY!

Babs: Yike!

Gastly: [laughs] GASTLY GASTLY GAS!

Babs: Gastly! You big stinker!

Gastly: [silly face] GASTLY!

Zee: Gastlykins! Don't try and scare Babs while we're working! Besides, accidents could happen you know!

Gastly: [nods] GASTLY GAS!

Babs then looked at Swoobat.

Ash: Everything alright, Babs?

Babs: Yeah. Why do you ask?

Ash: You seemed kinda focused on Swoobat back there.

Babs: I was just thinking about getting another Pokémon like Swoobat, but different.

Jessica: You don't want another bat Pokémon?

Babs: I do, but I also want something different!

Ash: Whaddya have in mind?

Babs: I'm thinking another bat like Swoobat, but a different kind of bat, and something cute and cuddly.

Swoobat: [annoyed] SWOOBAT SWOO!

Babs: Not that I don't mind having you, Swoobat! You're awesome and cute! I just want to have two Bat Pokémon and another Pokémon that can't fly.

Ash: Maybe a Fighting type would peek your interest?

Babs: I'm listening...

Ash: [pulls out his Rotom Phone] Let's see!

Rotom Phone: Tyrogue, the Scuffle Pokémon. A Fighting type. Even though it is small, it can't be ignored because it will slug any handy target without warning.

Babs: Now that looks pretty cool!

Ash: Totally!

Jessica: [notices another box] Whoops, looks like we forgot one. [creates construct hand and brings it over to Babs]
