Single Mom pt. 3 -Dougie B

"How we slow?" Setty asked

Bluu smacked his lips, "Bro even I know what's goin' on, let's just go bro" Bluu said pulling Setty as Lovee grabbed Kay. "We'll see you at the stu Dougz" Lovee said as they began dragging the boys away.

When they were quite a distance away I chuckled as Dougie let out a breath, "Sorry bout that" He said

I shook my head, "You're good they're actually entertaining" I said to him

He chuckled, "Yeah sometimes"

We stood there for a little bit, as the silence fell upon us. "Dougie are you sure about this?" I asked looking into his eyes

Dougie nodded his head, "I ain't never been more sure than now"

I didn't say anything for a moment before I nodded my head, "Then yes"

It'd been about two months since Dougie had asked me to be with him, and to be honest at first it was a little scary. Not because he made it scary, just the whole idea of it if that makes sense. Zahir loved having him around more, as did I and for some reason the more time that Dougie spent with us the more I seemed to forget lowkey how it was without him.

He got along well with my Pops, the two of them together were a time to see. And our relationship was actually going really good, I met more of his friends and hung out more with Bluu, Setty , Kay and B-Lovee the five of them together really seemed to share one brain cell half the time it was amusing to be around.

Today Zahir and I decided to wake up earlier than normal, and head to the grocery store to buy some stuff to cook breakfast. Dougie got in late from the studio, dragging in the boys with him the only one awake when we were getting ready to leave was B-Lovee and he was barely even awake at that. "Ya goin' out?" He asked rubbing his eye as he sat up

I nodded, "We're going to get breakfast" Zahir said loudly

B-Lovee gave him a half-awake smile, "Y'all want me to come with?"He asked

I shrugged, "If you wanna come I won't mind"

"Yeah! Uncle Lovey, c'mon" Zahir said going over to him and pulling his hand

B-Lovee chuckled, "Aight lemme go to the bathroom real quick"

Zahir nodded his head, as B-Lovee got up from the couch heading towards the bathroom. It didn't take long for him to finish up and when he came out of the bathroom you genuinely couldn't even tell if the man had just been sleeping.

The three of us headed towards the store and when we got inside Zahir grabbed a cart. Going down each aisle we picked up things to make. "Mommy, can I-can I get this cereal?" Zahir asked pointing towards the Lucky Charms

I nodded, "Sure but we're not going to eat it all in one sitting alright?" I said pointing at him

Zahir gave me a smile nodding before going over and trying to pick it up but he wasn't able to reach it, turning back he looked over to B-Lovee. "Uncle Lovey can you help me" He asked

Nodding his head he walked over towards Zahir and helped him up to be able to grab the cereal box. We finished up grabbing what we needed , and made our way back to the house. The moment we walked back into the house with the groceries the guys were still asleep, so we put everything away and cleaned up the kitchen a bit before Zahir and I started cooking.

It didn't take long for us to finish making the breakfast, and once we were done the only left sleeping was Setty who at this point was curled up in a ball on the couch. "Dougie look! Me and Mommy made Dinosaur pancakes!" Zahir said showing Dougie his plate

Dougie smiled down at him, "Yo this mad cool, y'all should have y'all own little cooking show" He said

Zahir flashed Dougie a smile, as he sat down in his chair next to him to begin eating his breakfast. "How was the studio last night?" I asked

Dougie nodded his head, "It was cool, laid a couple verses down and fixed some of the older stuff I made. Ya had fun at ya Pops last night?"

I nodded, "Dougie! Pop-Pop got me new shoes like yours" Zahir said making Dougie smile over at him

"Nah shoes like mines? We gotta put'em on together and take photos when we done" He said

Zahir nodded his head, "Okay Dougie!"

Looking at both of them made me smile. After I had ended things with Zahir's dad I didn't really think I would be able to be in a genuine relationship again. He was the love of my life well at least I thought he was, until everything transpired.

I guess I had been zoned out for a minute, because I didn't even realize when Dougie had placed his hand on top of mine and had moved a little bit to try and catch my attention. Blinking myself out of it, I looked over to him giving him a small smile. "You good?" He asked

I nodded, "Yeah just....thinking" I told him

Dougie nodded, "The guys was just sayin bye" He said motioning over to them

When I looked over I saw them standing with a half-awake Setty waving, "We're gonna catch y'all later forgot this dummy got court in 10minutes" Kay said smacking CBlu upside his head

"Ayo chill with the hitting, you only older by two years"He said pointing his finger at Kay

Smacking his lips at CBlu, he pushed past him and walked out. The rest of them waved goodbye following Kay out, I chuckled waving 'goodbye' . When I looked back over to Dougie he raised an eyebrow, "You sure you're good?"He asked

I nodded, "Yeah I'm good, just thinking is all"

He nodded his head as he turned towards Zahir to continue their previous conversation, "Mommy! Dougie said one day he's gunna take me to make a song" He said excitedly

I smiled, "And what're you gonna sing about?" I asked chuckling

"How much I love you" Zahir said happily coming over to give me a hug

I squeezed him into a hug, " Isn't he just adorable?" I said

Dougie crossed his arms," I was gonna say that"Dougie muttered

I laughed," Are you getting jealous of a child Arion"

Sitting up he readjusted himself shaking his head, "Neva that" He said

Zahir and I finished up eating, and once I collected the plates from the table Dougie took Zahir to get cleaned up and changed as we were going to head down to the park for a little bit. As I was washing the dishes there was a knock at the door, and since both Dougie and Zahir were in the bedroom I dried my hands before going to answer the door.

"Can I-"

The rest of the words weren't able to make it out of my mouth as I stared at the person standing on the other side. "Y/N who's there?" Dougie asked from behind me

When I turned my head to look at him, he held Zahir in his hands. "I want you back "
