SUNNY tried to sit very still, he would hate to wake BASIL up...
That was until there was a knock on the door.
Uhhh...
How was he supposed to answer that?
Hmmm.. He gently lifted BASIL's head, praying that BASIL wasn't a light sleeper.
He got up quickly, constantly repeating the same thing in his head.

He quickly walked to the door, looking back a few times.
He tried to calm himself when he looked back a fifth time, and only saw BASIL's small fragile figure, resting on the couch, looking the calmest SUNNY has seen him in the past 4-5 years.
But that only freaked him out more, the knocking was getting more aggressive, and he heared a faint ringing in his ears.
He feared BASIL wasn't breathing.. But tried to relax when he saw BASIL's light steady breathing.
He made an attempt to steady his shaking hands.
He needed to calm down. But the knocking got more aggressive and the ringing was louder, he could see a faint shadow casting over him.
Why? Why was he freaking out like this? It was just knocking.
He rushed to the door, which only seemed to get farther away.
What?
SUNNY didn't understand.. Why? Why was this happening? He just needed to clam down..
"SUNNY!? BASIL!? IT'S KEL!! PLEASE ANSWER THE DOOR!!!"
It.. Was KEL?.. That made it a bit easier to calm down.
He finally got to the door after what felt like forever. He opened the door slowly, his hands still a bit shaky.
"Oh thank goodness! SUNNY! Your mom called your phone, so.. So I answered to try to lie and tell her you were at Gino's but I accidentally told her you were at BASIL's and she got so upset and wants to talk to you!"
KEL quickly said handing SUNNY his phone.
SUNNY put the phone to his ear, prepared to hear his mother's lecture.
"SUNNY?!? OH MY GOD!! I'M SO GLAD YOUR OKAY!!"
R.I.P his ears...
"I told you not to go near him!! You need to listen baby, mama knows what's best!"
Ugh.... Leaving me all alone and barely being home those four years wasn't 'best'
"Just get away from him, okay? I don't want you to get hurt."
"No." SUNNY responded, not realizing he said it.
"No?!?!! What do you mean 'No'?!?!"
"I mean no." SUNNY grew impatient.
"He's going to hurt you!!! You'll-"
"You don't know that."
"Of course he will!!! He's insane!! He's not right in the head!! His parents are missing from his life!!"
SUNNY couldn't stand hearing her talk about BASIL like that.
"He's not mentally stable!! He's ill! He thought it was okay to hang MARI with a-"
"Don't. Bring. MARI. Into. This."
"But it's true!! He hung your sister."
SUNNY was filled with rage. Why? This pain.. Was it her fault?..
"DO NOT USE MARI AS AN EXCUSE!"
He hung up on her, he'd probably be sorry later... And.. Maybe he shouldn't have done that..
KEL looked concerned. "Uhhh... SUNNY? What was that about?"
SUNNY shrugged.
"Ummmm... Well then, see ya later SUNNY!"
SUNNY quickly closed the door, trying not to let his anger get the best of him.
He sped walked to the living room.
Okay.. He's still asleep...
He'd definitely would need to call his mom back and apologize...
Maybe that's why he always keeps his mouth shut, he seems to say the wrong things.
SUNNY had really only got 4 hours of sleep, he was a bit tired.
He slowly sat down on the couch.

BASIL said he always looked up to SUNNY.. That for some reason, made SUNNY feel special. BASIL wanted to be like him?
SUNNY is not the best with compliments, and honestly from what SUNNY knew, BASIL isn't ethier.
Ugghhh.. My head hurts..
But even still, he couldn't get over the fact his 'mother' if he could even call her that, had tried to use MARI as an excuse to guilt trip him.
She had tried to manipulate him.
He looked over at BASIL, who seemed to be sleeping just fine. SUNNY had mistreated him.. SUNNY was so selfish.. He didn't bother to think about how this could affect BASIL...
It affected BASIL in the worst ways... And it was all SUNNY's fault..
He had just left BASIL to die... And it was so stupid of him...
I guess after finally seeing me after four years.. He.. He couldn't bare to lose me..
But that was no excuse for what BASIL had did to his eye.
SUNNY was over that though, you can't hold onto the past forever...
"You say that and yet you still seem to linger onto what has already happened."
Such a familiar voice.. And an annoying one too.
"You've come back for the summer but yet again plan to leave him to die."
What?
"You haven't changed a bit."
SUNNY tried to ignore him.. But yet he was so right...
"Oh! So you do remember me? Kinda expected you to forget. You forgot the truth pretty fast, too busy in HeadSpace.."
Ugh.. He's so annoying.. God..
"You of course bothered to remember my name.. Right?"
Of course... OMORI...
