If you said yes, you're definitely incorrect. SUNNY was 100% sure this wasn't gay in any way.

Okay, you're probably confused. So, he's not sure how it happened, but, somehow, after heading to BASIL's house, they talked. Well, mostly BASIL did. Anyway, they head to the blond boys room, and they talk a little more. And by 'they', BASIL was the only one talking. SUNNY just nodded along.

Anyway, eventually, it ended the way it's going now. BASIL resting his head in SUNNY's lap, staring off into nothing.

Okay, maybe that's not exactly how it went, but SUNNY isn't really a reliable source for storytelling at times.

Let's try this again. We'll start off from before they went to BASIL's room.

The gentle soul had mentioned he felt a little dizzy and lightheaded. SUNNY didn't think that was a good sign, and practically dragged BASIL to his own room.

BASIL felt better for a while, and they talked. Again, just BASIL talked. And then, BASIL spoke up about how he was dizzy again and things were getting slightly blurry.

SUNNY had patted his lap as an offer, and BASIL had quickly accepted.

It was nothing weird. Nothing weird at all. His best friend wasn't feeling well, and he just wanted to try and help. That's all it was.

Anyone who takes it the wrong way is weird. There's nothing going on between them. Ignoring the fact they've kissed on multiple occasions...But it was just twice! Or..Maybe three times... Nothing more than four times! He's sure of it.

Now that he thinks about it...It was only twice. He'll make sure it stays like that. He can't just go around kissing his best friend.

He's ripped out of his thoughts as BASIL's gaze falls on him. SUNNY stares back at him.

It's so easy to get lost in those eyes....

What am I thinking?..

He hears a scoff that gains his attention. OMORI's sitting on BASIL's nightstand.

"The fact I have to watch this."

Shut it and go to WHITESPACE or something.

SUNNY quickly returns his attention to the blue-eyed boy when he hears a small hum of confusion.

"I-is there something ov-over there?.."

How do I explain this?...

"That's the best part! You don't."

He ignores OMORI completely, focusing on BASIL. SUNNY shakes his head no, not wanting to bother BASIL while he's not feeling well.

Definitely not because he really doesn't want to have to explain because that would mean he'd have to speak up.

Ignoring the fact he was perfectly fine with speaking up to yell at his own mother, he preferred to stay quiet.

He's spoken a few times so far during this break. Good. That's progress.

Anyway, that's not the point at all.

He looks at BASIL, and the boy quickly looks away.

"Y'know SUNNY?..I'm..Uh..S-so glad things a-are starting to go ba-back to bbei-being okay..."
