Unnoticeable

Over the last few weeks, SUNNY has noticed something most people wouldn't care enough to even see. He noticed there were less bandaids all over BASIL's arms.

There were still quite a few on the boys' legs, as SUNNY has literally watched BASIL trip and scratch his legs up.

The blond was pretty clumsy.

But back to the subject of BASIL's arms, SUNNY didn't know why there were bandaids there anyways.

Sure, he understood the legs. He's literally seen BASIL manage to skin his legs all up..

But..He's never really seen BASIL land on his arms or anything..Yeah, it's a possible thing and could definitely happen when SUNNY wasn't here, but still.

Once again, back to the subject at hand, SUNNY felt a little happy.

Most would call it stupid to be happy over something so small, but SUNNY didn't care. That was just how his brain worked.

SUNNY and BASIL were at the park again. SUNNY had decided that going outside would be good for the both of them. (Though he knew they couldn't be out here for more than an hour because BASIL gets sunburned easily.)

The first thing the blond wanted to do when they got to the park was get on the swings. It was always Basil's favorite, even when they were younger. Problem was, he couldn't really get on the swing without someone else around because the poor boy's legs didn't reach the ground. At least they almost did now.

But hey, he had SUNNY here to help him now.

SUNNY just silently watched BASIL struggle to climb onto the swing, his face scrunching in slight frustration, but he eventually made it.

SUNNY had to admit, even he found it hard sometimes to get on those stupid things. Just sometimes.

BASIL looked at him, and SUNNY knew that was his cue. He walked over to the swing, watching as BASIL's big eyes were watching him too.

This is slightly awkward...

He walks behind the swing, gently grabbing the chains to pull the swing back before letting go.

BASIL let out a squeak of surprise.

What? Did he expect a warning? Or maybe he wanted a countdown...

He continued to give BASIL gentle pushes. He felt like he was on autopilot, not really thinking about what he was doing.

His mind was other in places.

He never really had time to think about the future. He always seemed so focused on the past and present.

Maybe, he could let go of what he couldn't fix, and focus on what he could. Do what he can and stop worrying about what he can't.

Jeez, maybe therapy did help.

And here SUNNY was, thinking that therapy didn't do much for him.

"S-SUNNY?" BASIL's voice brought him out of his thoughts.

"C-could..Could you stop the s-swing for me?"

SUNNY managed to ground himself, getting his head out of the clouds. Usually BASIL preferred being on the swing for a while. Why did he want off so quickly?

It's not like the swing was going very high or anything.

Okay, maybe he made BASIL swing a little too high. And maybe he knew BASIL had a weak stomach.

And just maybe BASIL was feeling nauseous because of him, but it was an accident.

He stops pushing the swing, giving it a minute or two to lose momentum before he grabs the chains, making it come to a stop.
