Near the end of the day, Owen was waiting for his ride near the front door. His two friends tried to talk about other things. Pat talked about how great they were doing when playing soccer. Chase suggested that they should try something different for next time. Owen talked about what other sport they could play outside. While the three friends were talking, somebody was watching from the entranceway. A person with Owen's face peeked over and saw him talking about sports. This boy instantly hid when two girls and one boy walked out of the school. Owen's twin slowly looked over his shoulder and peered into the entranceway to the door. Owen's friend Pat said goodbye and went through the entranceway door. Just as he left, there was the sound of the school bells ringing again. Everything around Owen started to change. Owen's twin came out from behind the doors and opened them. "Hello Owen, miss me?" He said with a grin. Owen ran away from his twin he quickly turned around and ran. "What are you running from my friend?" A voice pumped before he had dense grip on his arm. Owen looked to his right and saw his friend Chase. He had four earrings on each of his ears and his T-shirt sleeves were ripped off. His jeans were a little ripped up near the ankles. He also had a snake tattoo on his arm. Its tail started near his shoulder. The snake's mouth was open, and it felt as if it was bout to eat the first person who went near to his hand. "Get away from me!" Owen yelled as he tried to break free.

Owen's twin slowly began to stroll towards him. "You can't run. You are going to be bad soon enough." He conveyed in a casual tone of voice. Owen pulled on Chase's arm and sent him onto the wall. He hit the wall and loosened his grip on the arm. Owen ran away and struggled to find a hiding place. "No, I don't need to hide somewhere. I need to get out of here." Owen told himself as he ran in the school hallways. Owen's doppelganger and Chase pursued after him. Two teachers joined the hunt. Owen tried to keep some distance between himself, and his double. He did not like the sound of being turned into a mean person. Owen ran into the library since it was coming up. Two students tried to block the entranceway. However, Owen pushed them away as they nearly hit the sides of the library door's frame. The teachers and the two youths wandered into the library shelves. "Is that?" The librarian asked the two youths. Owen's twin nodded his head. "Yes, he is my twin. We are going to be taking over his world soon enough." He spoke. "Come on! I bet he wants to play a game of hide and seek with us. I think he's hiding where the books are." Chase suggested as he can't wait to start looking for him. There were twenty four different shelves in the library. Owen's twin started to look down one section of shelves while Chase began to look down one section of shelves. "By the way, have you been to the egg throwing event?" Chase grilled while looking down the first aisle. "I wish I could. But my parents want me home that night." Owen's twin answered. "I haven't seen that eighth grader at the house. Did you see him?" Chase questioned again while looking down the third aisle.

"No. I think he's hiding somewhere. Those alligators have really scared him up good." Owen chuckled. "Hmm. Well, where do you think he could be hiding at?" Chase grilled. Owen was hiding behind a shelf at the last aisle on the left. Chase was looking down the aisles next to some shelves on the left side of the library. The other set of aisles were being looked through by Owen's twin. Owen was trapped. The only way he could get in and out of the aisle was next to the long stretch of floor that allowed the library visitors to access the aisles. The aisles on the right were right next to glass windows. They went all the way from close to the ceiling to a seventh grader's knee. Owen was scared that somebody might be able to spot him from the window. He tried to stay quiet. He breathed in and out as silently as he could. Chase was only one aisle away from where Owen was hiding. Chase took three footsteps into the aisle before the aisle where Owen was hiding. He stopped for a moment and listened. Owen was standing still in the last aisle and trying to stay quiet. Chase nearly put his ear next to books on the shelf to his right. Then he looked up at the ceiling. Owen slowly turned his head towards the aisle that connects the bookshelves to the rest of the library. He felt that he was going to be caught at any minute. Then there was the sound of the fire alarm. Owen's twin groaned as he and his friend went out of the library. Chase trailed behind him. They both followed the teachers till they were next to the closest fire exit. Owen stepped out of his hiding place. He went to the library's only entrance. Just then, Owen saw somebody familiar. It was the eighth grader he saw today. He winked one of his eyes at Owen as he was next to one of the fire alarm switches. He instantly jumped into a cart used by the school janitor. It was full of empty flattened cardboard boxes. He buried himself with the flattened cardboard boxes.
