Dark parallel trap

Chapter 17

Owen opened the big desk drawer without anybody knowing that he was in his twin's room. There was a joystick like device in the big drawer. There was also a few other small gadgets that he had stored inside. Owen saw the same device that would turn the person who was using it to turn invisible. There was the sound of people talking near the entranceway. Owen had two of the four small devices out of his double's drawer. He noticed that there was a cellphone, and large and flat rectangular like device that had the screen in the middle of it. It didn't look like an iPad. Owen saw some small pieces in one plastic bag. He didn't know what to make of them. The small pieces were small circles. They were just as small as peas. Owen took the joystick like device and the invisibility like device into his backpack. He made himself visible again. They were stuffed into his backpack.

Owen left the cellphone inside the big drawer. He silently slid the big drawer bag into place. It was then locked. Owen carefully opened the small drawer and put the key underneath some papers. Owen had his backpack closed up. He could feel his backpack being a little heavier than usual. Owen than turned himself invisible again. The small drawer was closed up again. Owen stood up and slowly walked up to the door. He could hear his twin talking with the principal's counterpart. Owen didn't know what was going to happen. He had the door opened softly. The youth came out of the room, unsure if somebody was going to jump him. Owen had the door closed carefully. He was not sure why the principal would want to come to his twin's house. "Maybe they are figuring out how they are going to capture me? They might plan on turning somebody else bad. Or they might be figuring out how to capture me and their Frank at the same time." Owen said to himself in his mind as he went to the dining room. Owen tiptoed across the hallway floor until he stopped next to the dining room. His twin and the principal's twin were talking to each other. They were both being served juice. The principal commented on how Owen is doing so much for the school. "Despite not successfully capturing your counterpart, you have done such great deeds for this school and for the world. You tested out the technologies that would allow you to teleport between worlds. You have used other spy technologies provided to the school by the government. They started out as real life models. The gadgets have helped the world to improve the spy gadget technology. You are the first student to ever use such splendid technological advances." The principal spoke with a grin. "That's a lot of fancy words sir. I am glad to be a helpful to the school. I know that the school is going to help the world invade the dimension that my double comes from. When are we going to turn him bad sir?" Owen's doppelganger asked. Owen noticed that the principal was not alone, there was two other students. They both had fancy clothes on. One of them was a girl who might seem familiar to some student that Owen has seen at school, but he doesn't know her name. Her dress was torn at the bottom. There was a boy who was present. The cuffs around his suit were ripped off.

They both were carrying briefcases with them. "Let's discuss the upcoming situations at hand." The entire doppelganger family was sitting at the dining room listening to what the principal has to say. "The first priority we have to worry about is that somebody is giving Owen's twin access to the gadgets that are store in our storage room. He now has the advantage of coming and leaving our world whenever he pleases. Do you might have an idea of who might be giving Owen these devices?" The principal inquired. The family members looked at each other. "I think it was that Frank boy. The same boy who was thrown into the pool full of alligators." Owen answered. "How can that be? He was suspended from school! How could he even access the technology storage room? He's not supposed to be at school! Why are you even suggesting this boy who has not been at school for a while?!" The principal said furiously. "I do suggest that Frank is behind this problem sir." Owen implied, trying to keep himself calm from getting yelled at by the principal. "And why do you think this boy might be helping him? He's going to be expelled when I'm through with him in my office." The principal said with a softer tone of voice. "I do not know why he would be helping out my double sir. But I did hear his voice in the library the other day. Along with my twin's. I don't know what Frank was talking about in the library with Owen. It is likely that they may want to disrupt our plan to invade my double's world." Owen's twin proposed. The principal's double looked at Owen's twin. He then looked at the ceiling. Owen quietly shuffled his feet until he was in the living room. The flat screen TV was on the wall of the living room. Anybody could watch the television while sitting in the dining room.
