Dark parallel trap

Chapter 20

Before Owen knew it, he was strapped down on what appeared to be a metal table. He was facing the ceiling of what appears to be a classroom. Owen saw the desks pilled top of each other along with the chairs. Two teachers were smiling with joy when they watched Owen tried to struggle a little from the leather straps. "Feeling comfortable?" Owen's double questioned as he looked down on him. Owen felt a little comfortable with the pillow below his head. "What's going on? I thought I was supposed to end up at your house!" Owen screamed as he tried to push against the straps. "We will be next to the door." The two teachers informed as they left the room. They had the door open. "By the way, you want to learn what's going on and even why I framed Frank?" The doppelganger asked. Owen couldn't understand why he ended up being strapped down on a table. So, he asked his twin to tell him why. "The program that the school was running so that a lucky student can travel to a parallel dimension required a volunteer. But this volunteer had to be somebody that had done something bad at the school in secret. The details about how to apply for to be volunteer for the program was only known to the principal. I knew it from a teacher by asking him about it. You see. Students at this school knew about the program but didn't know what it was all about. I first learned about it from a teacher while at English class."

Owen listened, and he started to learn the beginning of the story. "I then went to the principal near the end of the day when school was done for the day. I went to the principal's office and asked him about the program. He then closed his office door and covered the window of his office. That's when he revealed the secret room to me. I was amazed about the gadgets that were stored inside. The principal then told me that I must do something bad at the school without anybody knowing it so that I can be the volunteer for the program. When the teacher told me about the program. He only revealed that the school was running some new program. That was about it. The principal on the other hand, gave me all the details about the program. He told me that the world leaders are planning to establish an empire. The only problem there is that there is hardly any place to conquer. Not on my world at least. Before the program even began, scientists have found a way to travel to parallel universes. With this new discovery, they informed the world leaders about this idea first. They then found that they should convinced the entire earth that they should participate in conquering other dimensions. That's when one of these world leaders met the principal in secret. He told him about how they wanted to take over other earths using the gadgets in the secret room. He wanted the principal to introduce this new program to the students so that they could convince the parents about joining to form this new empire across dimensions. The plan worked with my school. Once I was the volunteer of this new project." Owen was panic-stricken to hear that the world leaders wanted to conquer other earths.

"How did you manage to become a volunteer for this program?" Owen asked. "I went to the teachers and asked them about how somebody can become bad without anybody knowing it. I simply told them the reason why I wanted to find this out is that the program that the principal was running is that that nobody would do anything bad at school behind the school's back. I learned how you can make a convincing phony video and that you need to add makeup to the students who have been beaten in the fabricated video. I also told them they all need to tell the story that Frank was the bully who beat them up. The principal and the other teachers took these lies seriously. In no time, I had Frank framed for being a school bully. I secretly informed the principal about what I have done. He was excited that I managed to pull it off. The principal told me that I was the volunteer to be using the new gadgets that are stored in the secret room behind his desk. I had myself equipped with these new mind boggling gadgets. Then I had to wait until there was a parallel earth for me to explore. That's when the scientists discovered your earth." The double finished before catching his breath. "Frank told me that you had a way of turning people on my world bad. Is that right. You better be leaving my family alone!" Owen shouted. His twin looked down at him while he lay helpless on the table. "I think not. The only way to slowly invade your earth is that we had somebody in your world that would turn everybody bad, is by one person at a time. That way, the world leaders on your earth won't know what hit them until its too late. We do in fact have a device that is getting set up in the gym. We are simply waiting for the machine to be built before rolling you in to be turned into a bad boy. We also do have a smaller version of this device that could fit into the palm of your hand. But that is not a part of the invasion plan to use it just yet." The double explained.

"Do you think doing something bad to Frank would want him to something bad to this school? I mean you have said one day when I was spying on you and the principal at your house that Frank has stolen some technology from the secret room. You suggested that the principal should have stronger security to make sure that nothing else gets stolen." Owen pointed out. His doppelganger looked down at him with such a confused look. "You've said that you were spying on me, and the principal were you?" The twin realized. Owen just looked back at him, without having to nod or shake his head. The double looked at the white board in the classroom. "I don't think that Frank would want to do something bad to us anytime soon. Besides, he doesn't have anything that would make him look like a danger to the school or to my whole world anyhow. Even if he does something bad, it would probably to get back at this whole school, not me." Owen was hoping to get more information from his twin about the digital clone that was put on his world whenever he has gone to this parallel universe. He felt that this was a great time to ask his twin since he was already talking to him. "What about my digital clone? Frank told me that it would take my place every time that it would leave from my world and into your world.". Owen's double wasn't surprised by the question being asked to him. " Yes, Frank is right about the clone. I'm sure that he has shown you some evidence of this clone taking over your life whenever you have left your dimension and have appeared in my dimension. As he probably would have told you the first few times that you have appeared in my world is that the clone was simply a test run. We wanted to know how the clone would work on your earth. I've studied you from a distance without you knowing about it. I gathered information about you and sent the information back to your school. With this news that I gather on you every night. We try to make the clone a little bit better so that it could be a perfect replacement when you are going to be turned into a bad person.". Owen was alarmed that his twin would be spying on him. Trying to make his clone look more like him.

"How did I get to your world the first few times?" Owen asked. "That was done through an advanced machine that does the same job as the joystick like device, except it only targets the number of people that it transports to my dimension. If somebody has a joystick like device in their possession than the machine would not work very well. The machine would randomly send somebody into our world for a limited amount of time. The time you would stay here normally would change from time to time." The twin just smiled down at Owen after explaining the machine to him. "Why did I end up here? Would I end up in your room back at your house?" Owen demanded. "Now then, that was a perfect plan. I might have guessed Frank might have given you a joystick like device. Therefore, I transported myself into your bedroom. I simply had to search for the devices and where you have hidden them. After that, I need to reprogram the devices to transport you here, where you would be tied down to this table on wheels." "Now, I know that you might have other questions for me but now I must join the teachers and students in the gym so that I can help finish building the device that would make you bad. Maybe we could play a sport together some day." The doppelganger said staring at his counterpart. His face then turned to look at the door. He walked up to the door and knocked on it. The teachers heard him, and they opened the door of the classroom. Owen's twin stared back at Owen as he watched him trying to break free of the leather straps holding him down. The door to the classroom was closed behind him. Owen tried to cry for help. He then remembered that everybody on this world would not help him and rather see him turn bad. Owen looked around the room for something that could help him escape. Then he saw the blinds on the classroom slowly started to roll down by themselves. Owen thought that the school might be haunted too. The sound of the curtains slowly lowering themselves were not heard by the teachers guarding the door. A rolled up blind next to a window that showed a bit of the school hallway, started to slowly roll down. The teachers were more focused on the hallway itself.
