Dark parallel trap

Chapter 24

"What do we do next? Go home?" Carter asked. "Not yet, we still got to make sure that this school won't harm anybody again." Owen asserted. Carter groaned at the words that Owen said. "We need to get ourselves ready first. Let's go back to that storeroom with all of those gadgets." Frank said, he held out his joystick device. Owen held his. Carter held out his too. Owen held out and open hand. "I don't think we are going to be needing that anytime soon." Owen commented as he saw Carter's device. He had the joystick that Carter was holding put into one of Frank's hands. The device was in one of Frank's own pockets. Owen and Carter were still wearing their pyjamas. Owen grabbed onto Carter's wrist. Frank and Owen activated the joystick like devices. Carter and Owen heard the sounds of the school bells as the room around them started to change. The door to the supercomputer room became a door like rectangle in the wall.

The brown wooden door started to turn into a gray cement like color. Owen recognized the surroundings as the gizmo room behind the principal's office. Frank took an invisibility device from the shelf. Carter was astonished by the technology stored in the secret room. Frank pounded his feet on the gray floor next to one end of the room, away from the hidden door. The floor started to move by itself. Doors leading underneath the secret room were revealed. The doors opened up. There was a ladder going down. Frank watched the secret door. He thought somebody was in the principal's office. "Hurry up! We might get caught!" He whispered to the two siblings. Carter and Owen didn't want to find out who was coming inside the room. Carter was the first one down the ladder. His feet touched cold rung after cold rung. Soon he was on the floor of the hidden area. Owen was next. He nearly fell off the ladder while climbing down. His two feet have slipped while on the ladder. His hands slid a little way down. Owen's feet managed to grip onto a rung that was three rungs down from the ladder rung his feet have slipped from. Owen climbed down the rest of the ladder and joined Carter. Frank also climbed down. He skipped every rung so that it appears that he is climbing down two rungs at once. Carter backed out of the way. Owen was ready to grab him if he fell from the ladder by accident. Frank down the ladder and pressed on a nearby gray button on an outlet next to the ladder. The secret entranceway quickly turned back to normal. Owen looked down the room that he and his brother have entered in. It was a hallway that instantly turned to the right. The ladder that he had clambered down was next to a dead end of the tunnel. Frank sped down the tunnel. Carter followed after him. Owen walked down the passageway, unsure what would be in store for him and his little brother. When Owen reached the corner, he saw that there were burgundy colored shelves. He felt them and they were made of wood. There was a lot of items on the shelves of this long hallway. There were bottles of liquid that would make people sleep in a matter of seconds. There were costumes that were made to look exactly like humans. They were hanging on hangers and there was some makeup on a small shelf underneath the hanging costumes. The hands and heads that came with the costumes were stored in another small shelf above the hanging fake human suits.

"There we go. I think were all set to stop this school once and for all." Frank announced. He had put some stuff from the hallway like room into his backpack. Carter went beside his brother. "Owen, are you sure Frank is really here to help us? I'm not sure if he is trying to help us. I mean, he just took the stuff from the shelves just as if he was a robber." Carter grilled Owen, feeling uncertain about Frank. "Of course I'm here to help you silly. I've been framed by somebody from this school. And I'm willing to be putting that problem right. By helping you guys and stopping my school from doing something bad to you, you can be more than happy to know that I am helping you get out of here and prevent anybody from your world from getting into the same problem that your brother got himself into." Frank replied, overhearing what Carter had said about him. Carter then looked at Owen. "Can you tell me what trouble you have gotten on this world?" Carter asked. Owen smiled and shook his head. "No way Carter. You wouldn't want to know the scary time I've had in this world." He spoke. "Oh please when we get him home. I want you to tell me the story and I won't tell anybody. Not even mom or dad." Carter begged. Frank came up to Owen and handed him one more invisibility device. "It's time to put our plan into action. Time to go." Frank had his joystick like device in his outstretched hand. Owen grabbed onto Carter's wrist and had his joystick like device in his other hand. The two boys pressed the buttons on top of their devices. The sound of school bells rang through out the air. The long hallway room changed into a giant room. There was a wooden floor and giant area with space to run around in. There was a curtain that would divide the gym into two smaller areas to play sports in. Owen realized that he, his brother, and Frank were hiding behind that curtain. Owen attached the extra invisibility device onto Carter. He then turned the knob on the device. Carter was shocked to find himself invisible. Frank and Owen did the same thing with their invisibility devices. They saw the helpless clone of Owen staring at the machine that would make anybody become bad.
