I felt so much better talking to Dean about the whole parents thing, but I was a guest, and I didn't know him very well so I left quite quickly. I'm so glad it's sunday, I just can't handle school right now.
I walked home with my headphones in and hoodie up, blocking out the rest of the world. As I walked the familiar path up to my house, I stopped dead in my trackes when I saw my dad's car outfront. I couldn't face him right now, not with everything that had happened. I turned around quickly and decided to go to Hayley's house instead.
As I walked up the driveway, I noticed her car was gone. Great. Just great. Where am I supposed to go now. I couldn't go to Logan's house because he might not be there, I sure as hell was not going back home and now I couldn't stay with Hayley either. I turned around and decided to take a walk around the block.
I walked passed the milk bar and decided to go in and buy some snacks. After I payed for my food I stepped outside and saw him.
For a second I thought it was Logan, but as the tall figure approached me I recognized him immeadiatly, because that stupid cocky smirk was plastered to his face. Not him again.
"What do you want Scott?" I asked in my most irritated voice.
"Why? Aren't you happy to see me babe?" He asked seductivly.
Scott Phillips, my first boyfriend. we dated for about a year untill I caught him cheating on me with my lab partner, Casey. That made Biology hella awkward. He seemed so sweet when we were together, but after I dumped him infront of the whole school for cheating, and embarrasing him infront of every girl in school, he kept trying to annoy me by always showing up where he's not wanted. I know people think I'm the quiet type, but when someone makes me mad, I need to get them back.
"I never am." Trying to sound like his presence didn't bother me.
"Ouch!" He said, putting his hand on his chest pretending to be hurt. "Well a lady shouldn't be out all on her own, now should she."
"I'm fine, I'm just heading to meet a friend and your not invited, so bye.' I pushed passed him trying to get away, but before I could he grabbed my arm firmly. I tried to get him to release me but he just smirked at me, looking amused.
"LET GO OF ME SCOTT!' I screamed in his face. He was really starting to hurt me now.
"But why baby, this is so fun." I felt like smacking him across the face, but before I got the chance, someone pulled me out of Scotts grasp and pushed me behind them.
It was Logan.
"Is there a problem here?" He asked me, still facing Scott, who looked really pissed off. But before he let me answer, he started walking away, holding me by the waist, tugging me along side him.
"Are you ok?" He turned to face me. I couldn't hold in the giant smile that spread on my face. It seems like every time I see Logan; aka my hero, he's always saving me.
"What?" I could tell he was stunned by my reaction to the situation. I thought about it for a second, but I decided not to tell him what I was really thinking so I told him something else.
"Thanks, for saving me."
"It seems like thats all i'm doing these days," He smiled at me. His smile was so perfect I could just melt. He made me feel so happy, a way I haven't felt in a long time.
"Not that I'm complaing..." He let out, interupting my thoughts. We were staring into each others eyes, I was totally lost in his beautiful light eyes, until a car horn knocked me out of my trance.
Logan insisted on walking me home. We talked about all the basic things, like childhood, favourite band, food, colour, that sort of thing. I could tell he was hiding something when we were talking about childhood, but I didnt want to make him uncomfortable so I didn't push him about it. He could tell me when he was ready. He finally asked me about Scott, I could tell he wanted to ask me that for a while. I told him everything, because for some reason I felt safe with him. We arrived at my house, and dads car wasn't parked out front, so I figured it safe to go in. I asked Logan if we wanted to come in with me but he said he had something to do.
"Bye Logan!" I yelled from the doorway.
"Bye Raven!" He replied, before walking down the street and out of sight.
I took in a deep breath and unlocked the door. I could hear yelling like this morning, except it was Dawn yelling. She mentioned something about me and I could hear my mum trying to calm her down. As soon as I opened the door, Dawn and Mum both turned to look at me.
"What the hell is going on?!"
Hi guys. This is the 7th chapter. What do you think Logan is hiding, and why are Dawn and her mum fighting about Raven? Thanks for reading and I hoped you liked it!
