Having the least number of horses seemed to be what Ellie thought was a good idea. Sylvia and Ellie shared Ellie's horse because of Sylvia's injuries, while Dina had her own.

-

Days have past and the three of them have been gaining ground towards Seattle and now in a small city right outside of the destination. Dina hasn't been looking too good and it seems that something is wrong. Because of this Sylvia decided that she and Dina switch positions so she doesn't have to do a lot. Sylvia is the first one to catch onto her behavior, and plans to ask her when they all set up camp for the night.

Sylvia's wounds have majority healed and she is able to pick up speed when clearing areas. She decided to look around and make sure they aren't being followed. Ellie agrees with Sylvia's thought, and so Sylvia split from the group.

After a few moments of exploring, she heard voices that she knew didn't belong to anyone she knows. She swiftly gets off the horse and sneaks closer to the unsuspecting voices. Hiding behind a dumpster, she peers over and sees a small camp. Looking around, her eyes grow wide as she sees W.L.F spray painted on the camp tents. Sylvia leaves as quickly as she saw it and makes her way back to the two girls.

Sylvia meets back up with Ellie and Dina.

"Hey! Did you find anything?" Ellie questions.

"Nope.. nothing." Sylvia quickly dismisses and rides in front of the girls.

"Let's hurry this way." Sylvia leads the group in the opposite direction of the camp she had just found.

The three of them notice the sun going down, Dina requests that they take a break because she is exhausted. Ellie agrees and they come up to a theatre ready to set up camp inside. Ellie gets off the horse and ready's to go in.

Sylvia climbs off as well, walked over to Dina and helped her off of her spot as she seems to be having trouble. Dina's tan skin somehow looks white. Concerned and alone Sylvia speaks her mind.

"Dina? What's going on?" Sylvia holds onto said girls arm. Dina tenses up, but quickly relaxes turning to face Sylvia with her head down.

"I just don't feel good. That's all." Dina dismisses Sylvia's question. Seeming to not believe her Sylvia pushes further.

"No, it's not just that. You've been puking every day and seemingly weaker and more tired all the time. What. Is. Going. On." Sylvia's stare growing desperate.

Dina sighs, before inhaling sharply and then breathing out. Her hands rub her face before she meets Sylvia's eyes with tears. Sylvia's face contorts into concern and confusion and she grabs both of Dina's arms.

"I-I think I'm... pregnant." Dina speaks nearly inaudible.

Sylvia's jaw drops as the dots connect in her mind.

"Dina..." Sylvia tries to find something to say. She just wipes the tears from Dina's eyes and gives her a big hug.

"Okay. Everything's good in here!... But what the fuck is going on out here?" Ellie walks out of the theatre after clearing it, seeing Dina in Sylvia's arms.

The two separate from their hug and Dina wipes her nose from crying.

"It wasn't important, I just needed a hug... I just hope Tommy is alive." Sylvia lies, somewhat, she does very much miss Tommy.

"Oh... I'm sorry. I get it." Ellie walks up to Sylvia wrapping an arm around her shoulder.

"It's a hard time for everyone, you're not alone." Ellie sombrely smiles at Sylvia which she returns.

The three of them make their way through the theatre to start to set up places to sleep. Dina and Sylvia keep looking at each other but say nothing.
Dina fell asleep quite fast, leaving Sylvia and Ellie alone. They sit on the couch, assuming in the inside of the break room in the theatre. Ellie looks off at the wall with a somber expression. Sylvia noticed, realizing what she's thinking of.

"You know Joel really loved you?" Ellie turns her head to Sylvia but she keeps her head looking at the wall for a few more seconds before meeting Ellie eyes.

"I guess.." Ellie whispers

"I'm serious. I remember when it was me and Joel's first patrol together and he wouldn't shut up about you."

Ellie chuckles, "Really!?"

"Oh my god yeah! He would always tell me how much better you were and that I should come to you for some training." Sylvia laughs and Ellie joins in.

They two of them lock eyes after they've calmed down.

"You meant the world to him Ellie... Even I could see that." She smiles at Ellie.

Ellie nods and leans her head on Sylvia's shoulder. Sylvia blushes but wraps an arm around her.

"Thank you."

"Mhm." Sylvia smiles resting her head on top of Ellies as they cuddle on the couch.

-

It was later in the night and Sylvia just couldn't sleep. She watches as Dina and Ellie's chests rise and fall as they sleep. Her mind rushing on what to do about the camp she came across. Taking another glace at the two, she made up her mind. Sylvia can't let Dina go into that camp, she can't risk losing the baby or herself. She won't be able to live with herself if Ellie ends up hurt. She won't allow that.

Sylvia stealthily moved Ellie's sleeping body off of her own. She got up and started to pack all the weapons and food she had left out back into her backpack. Sylvia pulls out a piece of paper from her notepad and scribbles some excuse on why she's leaving.

Finishing up the note she puts it on the arm rest of the couch. Looking over to Dina she smiles before turning to Ellie.

Sylvia sighed walking over to her sleeping body. Leaning down Sylvia grazes her lips on Ellie's forehead in a soft kiss. Standing back up she whispers,

"Oh, I wish you would know how much you mean to me."

Sylvia takes all her belongings as she makes her way out of the room and out of the theatre, leaving it all behind.
