Chapter 14

She's at the Aquarium

Moving silently and as stealth fully Ellie can she was about to cross an open doorway but halted.

"I just don't get it." A female voice sounded concerned.

"What is Abby doing? She just showed up after going missing and she brought a weird girl with her." Another male voice rang after.

"She needed medical supplies Nora..."

"Nora..." Ellie acknowledged the woman's name.
"What is she up to?" the male voice questioned.
Ellie hid behind the door and quietly pulled out her bow, setting an arrow and aiming it at the man to the left of the woman with hazelnut skin and dark curly hair up in a ponytail.

Pulling her arm back, Ellie heard the arrow cut through the air before landing into its target. The man collapsed to the floor as the thick red liquid pooled around him. Nora gasped and held her hands up as Ellie stepped out from behind the wall with Sylvia's pistol aimed towards her.

"I don't want to hurt you." Ellie lied.

"I just need some information."

The woman kept quiet. Ellie walked towards Nora, but she shuffled back.

"Who are you, what are you doing here." Nora shook.

"I'm looking for someone..." Ellie started, but her mouth shut as the woman dashed, Nora ran though the double doors on the other side of the room. Ellie ran after her.

Running through the hallways, Nora kept screaming.

"Alarm! Alarm! Put the alarm on I need help!"
Ellie growled as more and more people put themselves in between the two of them. Ellie quickly took care of them with her pistol. Reloading the gun and sprinting after Nora who had gotten a lead.

The hospital was now flashing red, the hallways leaking with the crimson.

"You can't escape this Nora!" Ellie called out to her.

"Fuck you!" Nora called back winded and out of breath.

Ellie watched as Nora went passing through another set of doors. Turning slightly to her right she found a window that led to the hallway Nora had just entered.

Flinging the butt end of the pistol, it shattered the glass as Ellie threw herself into the hallway and watched as Nora zoomed by.

Nora slowed as she made it into a clearing, most likely the lobby of the hospital. Looking up towards the guards on duty on the balcony overlooking the lobby,

"Shoot her! SHOOT HER!" Nora screamed and pointed at Ellie who showed herself into the lobby as Nora turned and continued to make her way through the hospital.

Ellie's eyes widened and her teeth snarled as she pulled out her bow and watched as the men fell from the balcony with arrows through their eyes and ears.

"Come on Nora, we don't have to do this!" Ellie was catching up, Nora seemed to be getting tired.
Ellie grabbed a hold of a loose pipe in the wall before flinging herself with it at Nora. Bashing it against her side and arm, Nora goes tumbling.

"Aurrrghhhh" she groans in pain, holding her severely mishappened arm.

She stands quickly and dashes through another door.

Ellie follows suit, the red beamed on her skin, her freckles.

"Spores..." Nora whined, holding her throat as she let spores engulf her lungs. She coughs, crumbling to the floor.

"Nora." Ellie demanded the attention.

"Tell me where Abby is." She held a dark stare, eyes peaking through her eyebrows as she lowers herself to Nora's level on the floor.
