"I'm Not Too Sure About This."

"Mel, can you fix it?" Sylvia quietly asked from beside her. Watching as Mel gently touched the red and swollen skin of Yara's arm.

"Her bone is shattered... she has Compartment syndrome." Mel looked up at everyone around, and noticed only Sylvia seemingly knew what that meant. Lev looked at Sylvia and their eyes met.

"Her arm has to come off, or she'll die from infection." Sylvia told Lev before turning to Mel.

"Can you, do it?" Abby asked from opposite the surgical bed.

"I can't, we don't have the necessary equipment to do this type of surgery." Abby started thinking,

"There's a hospital! Nora's stationed there we can see if she can give us some of this stuff."

Sylvia hadn't heard Nora's name in years. Nora was always willing to help Sylvia with the lab work and reading medical books to each other when they had time off from their duties. She had a small smirk on her face remembering Nora.

Lev grabbed his bag already moving towards the door.

"That'll take a day! And she doesn't have a day."

Lev spoke up, "What if I can get us there in 2 hours?"

Abby put a firm hand and gripped Lev's shoulder. "Does she have a few hours?" Hinting at how long Yara had left in these conditions.

Mel nodded.

"Wait! I'm going with you." Sylvia demanded. She turned to Mel, "Stitch me up." Sylvia pulls out a first aid kit, the only thing in it were sutures. Mel grabbed the open box and pull up a chair, pushing Sylvia to sit on it.

It had only taken a few minutes, and Sylvia's face was finally stitched up. The gash sown and the skin back together.

"I'm glad you didn't lose an eye." Mel said taking off her gloves and closing the med-kit.

"Me too, now I have to go." Sylvia said quickly jumping to her feet and marching to Abby and Lev at the entrance.

"Wait!!" Owen called out to her.

"What."

"I think this is yours? I found it a few blocks from here." Owen pulled a dark green bag that had a little blue charm dangling from the zipper.

"My bag? I thought the Scars took it." Sylvia steps closer to Owen taking her backpack from him and checking the contents inside. It was all there. She muttered a quick thank you and went to the entrance where Abby and Lev were waiting.

"Come on we have to hurry." Abby told Sylvia as she was scurrying down the moldy broken stairs.

Abby catches a glimpse of Sylvia's face, it somehow looked normal, despite the horror done to it.

"You look great. Mel did good." She pats her back as Sylvia makes it next to her in front of the door.

"Okay, Lev. Show us the way." Sylvia turned to him and gave him an eager look.

Lev started jogging towards the flooded river, swallowing the roads, bit by bit. Lev was a natural, he was able to jump between bits of road and metal pillars in between buildings.

Sylvia and Abby were left gobsmacked. Watching his every move and then trying their best to recreate the movement.

"Lev, how the fuck are you able to do that." Sylvia huffs dangling from a broken rebar after Lev swiftly swung from it landing on a pavement platform, leading to the open entrance of an old coffee shop.
