I Don't Know What To Do Without Her..

Ellie opened her eyes, her body screaming in pain as she tried to move and sit up. Looking around she finds herself alone cuddled into many blankets and Sylvia's jacket. Ellie smiles while playing with the fabric of the jacket. Ellie's eyes dart around the room looking for said girl, but she only finds Dina, asleep on the floor with her backpack as a pillow. Confused Ellie calls,

"Sylvia!?.... Hellooooo!?" With that Dina wakes up rubbing her eyes.

"What are you yelling at?" Dina's voice came out tired and groggy. Ellie doesn't respond as she fully get's up from the couch, somehow now full of energy and worry. She hurries out of the room going to search the whole place while calling out her name.

Dina, confused looks around the room, noticing all of Sylvia's stuff was gone.

"Fuck..." Dina gets up now full awake as well searching all over the room for something Sylvia might have left behind. Dina makes it to the couch where she sees a messy, folded piece of paper. Dina acts quickly swiping it up and almost ripping it as she unfolds it and starts reading.

"Dear, Ellie but most likely Dina.

You have probably noticed that I'm not there anymore, and I promise it's for good reason. I saw a camp not too far away from you guys and I was worried that one of you will get hurt. I think that's where Tommy is and I can't let you guys get hurt because of something that I need to do.
Dina if you're reading this... please tell Ellie. I worry for you. And if this is Ellie..."

The ink had smudged and Dina was having a hard time reading it. She takes a deep breath before calling Ellie back. Ellie jogs into the room breathing heavily,

"Did you find something!?" She seems eager.
Dina hands the letter to Ellie, before she even reads it she whispers,

"Shit.. shit.. shit.." Like Dina, Ellie quickly snatches the letter. Her eyes growing wide realizing where Sylvia had gone.

"THAT BITCH LEFT WITHOUT US!" Ellie screams, eyes blurred with tears as she's lifting her arm with the letter towards the exit of the theatre.

Ellie grunts as she crumples the letter into a ball before pitching it against the wall. Dina starts,

"Ellie..." She puts a hand against her shoulder which makes Ellie turn around. Dina cupped Ellie's face.

"We will find her. Wherever you go I'll follow." Dina speaks slowly as she holds intense eye contact with Ellie.

She only nods in return. The two of them quickly pack up as well and left to go to the horses.

Shocked when they saw only one horse standing. Ellie sighs in frustration as she swings herself on the horse giving a helping hand to Dina.

While they're gaining ground they notice the pathway littered with fresh blood, they get of the horse as they track the dark red liquid to their bodies.

"She really let them have it.." Dina speaks up, shocked how much Sylvia was willing to do.

The bodies luckily led the way to the camp as gun shots can be heard from inside more buildings few hundred meters away.

"That must Sylvia... Let's hurry up before she does something else stupid." Dina nods making a huff as the two of them jump over a dumpster making their way into the base.

Multiple trucks drove by the two with the letters, W.L.F painting on the trucks.

"Goddammit.." Ellie curses.

"They must have called for back up." Dina adds.

The two of them continue on, reaching an old and small tattoo parlor. Backing themselves on the wall to make sure they aren't seen they peer over the doorframe. Ellie hears two men standing near the back of the studio. The both of them crawl and hide behind the counter out front of the building.
