Let me tell you a story about a woman who fell into two crowds: the good and the bad.
Of course, there are pros and cons to each category, but I suppose it only depends on the way you look at it...

TW!: swearing, arson, attempted murder

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Kam returned to Eden Cornwall around 11pm after writing and mailing a letter to Leviticus Cornwall, sending him the details and demands for his daughter's safe return.

"Leviticus," she wrote,
"I was considering your situation and was planning on selling your daughter to you for a fine price. That was before your men shot at me. So, I've raised the price. Meet me at the secluded cabin South of the oil fields, one of your own in fact. Your unharmed daughter will be returned for the price of $700 cash. Leave your weapons at your fancy palace. If I so much as see a pistol, Eden will see the end of mine. Come alone, or don't come at all.

See you soon,

Kam O'Driscoll."

The letter had been sent and she even paid the train conductor to skip his normal stops so he could deliver her note quicker. Now all she had to do was wait for him to arrive. And boy, was she ready.

Believe it or not, Kam knew grammar and how to compose sentences like the back of her hand; it came with the perks of living with the Shaull's for 13 years. Her handwriting wasn't perfect, but it was legible. Cursive was never something she got the hang of, so she stuck to the print-style of writing. In modern terms, her handwriting was very similar to the 'emizfont' which looks a little messier than anyone would've expected. Kam, who was raised to act proper and be a lady in front of guests, had forgotten all etiquette when it came to cursive writing. I suppose that's what happens when you're kidnapped from your perfect childhood to live as a criminal for the rest of your life.

Kam had gone back to her original and what seemed to be her final post as Colm's right-hand to gather her guns and ammunition, basically raiding her previous camp. She found all of her stuff untouched, thankfully, and stored as many guns as possible and pairs of clothing she could on Brutus. She had a lot of guns stored on her Shire, and all of them were hidden well. The only guns on Kam's person were her Colt M1898 and her Lancaster Repeater; the rest were scattered around certain hiding places in the old O'Driscoll camp.

Kam sat on a wooden chair that faced the abandoned shack's door, waiting for Leviticus to bust through that door guns blazing. However, Kam had a backup plan for this. For once, she actually had a great plan. She thought through it the entire ride back to Eden from Valentine, and she would continue to think about it a day later. During the time she thought, she only left the shack once and it would be to grab a massive jug of moonshine. Even then, she was gone for about an hour at most.

When she walked through that door with a giant, tan and brown jug, Eden seemed to tremble. She could only wonder what the O'Driscoll had in store with the hard liquor. Then Kam started to pour the liquor on the ground, around the corners of the shack. "Wh-What are you doing?" Eden stuttered, attempting to cover up her anxiety but failing miserably.
Kam didn't answer. She simply kept pouring the alcohol on the ground slowly, trying to save as much as possible for the main event.

Eden noticed almost immediately the type of pattern Kam drew as she circled her path from the outlaw's chair to the walls and then across the room to Ms. Cornwall. It seemed to be a type of spiral pattern, starting at the unoccupied wooden chair and circling around the room, staining the worn, wooden floors.

The Cornwall watched intently as Kam circled her, panicking slightly when her capture was out of sight, before she stood in front of the woman dressed in purple. Eden couldn't help but look up with an expression full of nothing short of terrified. Kam, however, didn't seem to bat an eye.
