All watched as she was shackled in place. The woman standing, unflinching, as still and as upright as a statue. Not a tremble to be seen, nor a bead of sweat coming to her brow as she waited for the great Caraxes to be manoeuvred into place. If anyone had ever doubted her claims of being the daughter of a dragon before, then no one questioned it at that moment. She was fearless before the beast. Her shoulders back, her head up high despite what was going to happen to her. But strangely..........scarily even, the same could not be said of the dragon.

Caraxes, it was known, that just like his rider, he could be particularly brutal, described by all as one of the fiercest dragons alive. Yet as his great eye caught sight of the woman that was chained to the floor of the pit, the dragon began to pull away, began to try and avoid the woman's stare. The feared creature currently appearing more like a started rabbit than a fire breathing dragon that all in their right minds were scared of. Daemon looking between his brother and the huge red beast, as Caraxes started to whimper, to whine. To make noises that neither Targaryen had ever heard a dragon make. Neither aware that they could make. The Blood Wyrm, cowering like a punished puppy, as the woman merely continued to stare and smile.

"Caraxes............ naejot nyke." Daemon called out, as he moved forward. Telling his dragon to come to him. Caraxes remaining where it was. The huge beast in fact trying to move away from the woman as far as he could.

"It seems that you do not control your creature as well as you think you can, Targaryen. Perhaps you should try another command, maybe it will listen to you this time.............." (Y/n) chuckled, as she turned to look at Daemon who had just come to stand by her side. The anger burning in his eyes, as the woman continued to mock him, to goad him; to take his very last ounce of self control and smash it under her foot. It had been bad enough that he hadn't been able to deal the final blow with his own sword. That he had not been able to kill her himself. But now, even the feared Blood Wyrm himself appeared to be under some kind of spell. The great red dragon acting like a lamb that had been sent into a cage with a lion. And this (Y/n) was the lion.

"Caraxes............. māzigon naejot nyke sir!" The rogue prince exclaimed, in another attempt to get the trembling dragon to come to him. The prince's face beginning to glow a bright shade of red, not just from anger, but from the embarrassment of his own dragon not heeding his calls. Daemon well aware that Otto and the other member of his brother's small council were watching on. Sure, that they would try and turn this against him somehow.

"Hmmmmmm. That didn't work either.......... perhaps if I were to...........?" (Y/n) smiled at the younger Targaryen, before turning back to look at the dragon.

"Caraxes........... mirre iksis sȳrī. Skoro syt ȳdra daor ao māzigon naejot nyke." She continued, calling out to the dragon. Assuring it that all was well and that she wished him to come to her. Her tone soft and reassuring, as she held out her chained hand. Caraxes, slowly and hesitantly making its way forward. Only stopping, as its snout reached the outstretched palm. (Y/n) patting the dragon, before turning her attention to the shocked and confused man that was still to her side.

Both Targaryens could hear it. Despite the fact that no one that was there for the execution had said a word, both Viserys and Daemon could hear the cogs in peoples minds begin to turn. Could hear the questions, the comments that currently raced through their brains. Could imagine the gossip that would make its way around the Seven Kingdoms, if any of this was ever to get out. Neither of the two brothers had ever heard of such a thing, never mind seen it. Caraxes not only cowering before (Y/n) but then listening to her commands more than it did its own rider. They, along with all others gathered, not sure what to make of any of this.

"Well...........as your beast is now in position, maybe we should get this execution over with. I mean, I don't know about you, but I had other things planned for the day and would really like to get to them. And, it is getting a little cool around here, so perhaps some fire is called for." (Y/n) remarked with a smirk, as she removed her hand from Caraxes snout. The dragon looking between his rider and the woman in front of him.

"Very well. But consider your plans cancelled." Daemon growled, giving his bastard sister one last hate filled glare before turning and making his way back to his brother. Viserys giving him the nod, as they stood together.

"Caraxes................Dracarys................!"Daemon commanded. The Targaryens bracing themselves for the hot rush of fire, the lick of flames and the screams of the prisoner. Yet...........yet there was nothing. Not fire, no flames, no screams, just Caraxes and the woman standing in the middle of the Dragon pit looking at one another. (Y/n) once again singing Hāros Bartossi as she continued to stand, tall and straight.

"Caraxes................Dracarys................!"

"Caraxes................Dracarys................?!"

"CARAXES............DRACARYS..............!" Daemon called out again and again. The anger growing within the prince at every disobeyed command. The younger son of Baelon rushing forward as Caraxes continued to ignore him. Continued to concentrate on (Y/n).

"Maybe if I try, he might listen to me. Though, may I suggest that you stand back. As great as you Targaryens believe yourselves to be. As close as you think you are to gods, dragon fire, is still dragon fire..............." The pale haired beauty said. Giving Daemon a soft shrug, before looking to the Blood Wyrm before her.

"Caraxes.............. naejot nyke.............dracarys..................." (Y/n) said softly. The mighty dragon instantly obeying her command. Daemon having to jump out of the way, as she was engulfed in dragon fire. The prince slapping at the flames that had caught the tail of his coat.

The blast was great, hotter than Daemon had ever known Caraxes to produce before. The flames dancing together. Glimpses of blue, red, orange and white mixing with the warm yellow tones of the fiery tongues. And then it stopped as quickly as it had begun. Yet instead of a pile of ash and bones, and a pair of empty chained manacles, there instead stood a naked (Y/n). Her clothes burnt from her body. The manacles melted from her wrists. The woman slowly patting Caraxes on the snout before turning and making her way to where a shocked Viserys stood. Passed where a stunned Daemon lay. Her naked form only stopping as she came to stand before her oldest brother.

"There is not a dragon, man or beast that can kill me. And if anyone else were to try, then they would quickly regret it. Now..........now that your sentence has been carried out, I would very much like some new clothes, seeing as Caraxes has deprived me of mine." (Y/n) said. Viserys seeming to almost blush as he looked her up and down for a moment before pulling his cloak from his shoulders and placing it around hers. The bastard dragon nodding in thanks, before making her way passed the king and back up to the Red Keep. Leaving all those in attendance, in stunned silence.
