"Where was she.............?" Harrold growled, as he forcefully pulled Criston to one side.

Despite what the princess had said about him admonishing her and her alone for what had happened, for her running away, the Lord Commander wanted answers. It was one thing that she had evaded one Kingsguard, but two........it was just embarrassing; and didn't only reflect poorly on the men themselves, but also on him. And as Cole was the newest Kingsguard, his name barely having dried in the book, this incident was most certainly not working in his favour.

"She was in the dragon pits, talking to Naga. I brought her back as soon as she came out." Cole explained, leaving out all that had happened in the pits between he and the lady, as the Commander finally released him from his grasp.

"As soon as was informed that the princes had run away, I went to find her." Cole continued, hoping that the older man would appreciate that the fault for the lady vanishing was not his; and he wouldn't find that he would lose the chance to continue to be one of her guards. That he wouldn't lose his chance to get closer to the exquisite Targaryen.

"Aye, well, tha princess cannot be allowed ta do such a thing again. She is the kings only sister. If anything were ta happen ta her, well.........." Westerling huffed. The Lord Commander not liking the thought of what could happen, if the beloved sister of the king was hurt. What would happen if some harm came to the lady, and Daemon took it upon himself to take revenge. The old warrior sure that the Seven Kingdoms would burn. Ser Westerling mussing for a moment, before turning back to the younger man.

"Ya assigned ta be tha lady's sole guard. Ya ta be by her side at all times. And you will not allow her ta get away again. Do we understand one another, Cole..........?" Harrold continued. Criston doing his best to not smile. Not to let the Lord Commander know that being the ladies only protector, was what he had hoped for.

"I understand, Ser Westerling. And you have my word that I will never let her out of my sight.............." Cole agreed. The new Kingsguard more then happy to agree to such a thing.

"Aye.......well, make sure ya don't. Now let's get back ta tha king's rooms." Harrold added. Cole nodding, as the two Kingsguards made their way back around the corner. The door of Viserys' apartments suddenly flying open, and a flurry of white hair and deep red skirts rushed out. A body clashing with that of Cole's. The two falling to the floor; Criston looking up to see a smiling princess. Cole wishing that they weren't in the middle of the corridor, with the Lord Commander watching on. That they were in fact in the lady's rooms, all alone, so that they could................

"My lady............" A voice suddenly came, ruining the moment. (Y/n) giving Cole a discrete wink, as Ser Westerling helped her to her feet.

"Thank you, Ser Westerling, and my apologies Ser Cole. I should have been watching where I was going." The lady said, as she brushed herself down, before facing the Lord Commander.

"Well, Ser Westerling. I am ready for my dressing down............" The dragon continued, as she looked up at the old warrior. The knight shaking his head at her, Harrold well aware that he could never chastise the princess, even if she might deserve it. This not the first time that she had evaded one of his men.

"My lady..................."

"I know, Ser Westerling. I am sorry. I will do my best to never run away again from Ser Marbrand again..................."

"Ya don't have ta worry about that. I've assigned Ser Cole ta be ya sole guard, seein as he's tha only one that seems ta be able ta find ya." Harrold explained. The lady trying her best to control her rapidly beating heart, at the though that Cole, and Cole alone would be watching over her.

"Well, I am sure that I will not be able to escape Ser Cole, so easily. I am positive that he will keep a very close eye on me.............." (Y/n) replied, as she turned to look at Cole.

"Perhaps...........perhaps he could begin, by taking me to my rooms........?" The lady continued, as she held out her arm for the Kingsguard to take. Cole looking to the Lord Commander for approval, before placing his arm in hers.

"Good evening, Ser Westerling.................." The princess said, smiling at the older man, before she and Cole made their way down the corridor.

                                                           >>-------------------------------<<

The journey through the corridors of the ancient castle had been made in silence, despite the fact that Cole wished to know what had transpired between the two dragons. He wanted to ask if they had spoken about her marriage; if the king had decided that she was to wed Vaemond, and he would lose her forever. Yet, he knew that he could say nothing, at least not until they were alone. For even though he had not been in the castle for as long as many others, he still know that every stone had ears that caught every word uttered; and eyes that saw each gesture.

"Would you come in for a moment, Ser Cole...........? There is something that I would like to discuss..........." The princess finally said, as they got to the room, and she opened the door. Cole nodding before following her inside; the door closing behind him before he turned and pushed the lady up against the wooden ingress. His lips crashing into those of the dragon.
