(Cassie POV)

"I'll see you in a minute," I walk away from my best friend Newt and into the deadheads to dig up some fertilizer for the plants,I was doing my job right until I heard a smirk going from behind me.

I turn round to see Gally,my stomach squeezes up.

"How are you then Cassie?" He asks,moving closer.
"F-Fine." I don't let myself look at him.

He edges closer and his me across the face. I gasp,he shoves me to the muddy floor and towers above me.

"Your precious boyfriend not here to protect you?" I wished he was. I loved him and it killed that he didn't know about it all all.

Gally hits me over and over,cupping my lips so there's no use screaming out for help...
"WHY?" You muffle through kicks,the tears streaming down my face.
"Shank," she sneers "I you tell anyone,you're dead." He walks off only to be comforted by Newt.
"What the bloody... Gally!" He screams "What have you done to her?"
"Nothing." He lies "She was just there,I told you she's mental!"

Newt smashes his fist into Gally's nose and he yells out in pain and sprints off. Newt then walks closer to me on the forest ground,I grip onto his hand and he pulls me onto his lap.

"It's nothing.." I yell "It wasn't Gally."
He scoffs "You look like you've been ruffed up."
"Well I haven't."
"Come on,we'll get some food," you ignore him "I could fix your hair?" he strokes my dark-brown locks gently.
"What difference would it make? I'll still look bad."
"Come on,marks don't last. Plus I think you look really beautiful tonight Cassie,I think you always look beautiful."
I shake my head "Thank you."
"Can I tell you something?"
"What is it?"
"I love you," I see in his eyes that he meant it deeply "Do you love me?"
"Yes,you mean as friends right?"

He looks at the ground "Actually, I wish we could be more than that."

I look into his glistening brown eyes,edging my face close to his as our lips connect. Arms wrapping around me,whispering his name,breathing in his comfortable scent as he lies me down, with him beside me.

"If anyone ever hurst you tell me," he says "I can't stand it,okay?"
"Okay."
