The bad news about Katie Bell's cursing incident spread throughout Hogwarts quick.
Everyone was muttering about what they think
happened that day or who might've cursed her.
Although some assumptions were made no one knew the answer to those questions.

"I heard that Katie nearly died. Parvati overheard someone talking about it in the Gryffindor common room!" Padma speaks distastefully to me and I sighed.

The two of us were helping professor Trelawney prepare all of her ingredients needed for the third years lesson tomorrow. For the past few days my mind has been in the gutter and I do not know if it's due too the fact that I've come to the conclusion that Draco's an death eater or my upcoming ancient runes test.

I'm sure that it's Draco being an death eater. Why else would be sneaking around during the night If he wasn't? I'm sure that he's not hooking with an hufflepuff or Ravenclaw girl. And then he's always itching his left forearm like he's in some type of horrid pain.

I didn't know much about death eaters but I was aware that Voldemort connects with them through the dark mark; when he connects with
his followers it moved and maybe that's what's hurting Draco. But why in the world would he want Draco Malfoy to be a death eater?

Or more so what does he want with Draco? Surely it's not to kill some irrelevant girl in Gryffindor and it couldn't be for an sacrifice like they did to Myrtle because Katie was an half-blood or pureblood, surely not a muggle.

"Who do you think did it, Moons?"

"I'd rather not say, Padma." I whispered, hanging my head low. I couldn't just tell her that I thought it was one of my closest friends.
"I don't think it's good to be throwing around accusations like those. That's an serious thing."

An very serious thing that Draco had a high chance of committing. What would even make him think that doing that in plain sight would be an good idea? No, of course I didn't approve of what he's doing but he was not that stupid.

I'm more displeased with the fact that both Theodore and Blaise knew that he was a real death eater and I didn't. Blaise and Theodore
who ran off of the same old retired brain cell. Was it because of my gender? And Draco was under the impression that I'd freak out.

If that was the case than I am so offended because I have proved to them many times to not underestimate me because I'm an women. The three of them will be lucky if I don't curse them the next time that I see them.

"Who do you think did it?" I decided on questioning Padma and relief filled me when she shrugged her shoulders.

Though I'm sure that everyone knew that Katie's cursing had something to do with a follower of Voldemort or just him in general. No one decided to bring the idea up.

Both the Ministry of Magic and Wizarding World was already been shaking in fear and this all probably made it so much more worse. Innocent Gryffindor cursed returning from an trip from Hogsmeade--I could almost smell the parchment paper that headline will be on.

"But whoever did it. Let's hope that the Ministry finds them before they strike again." Padma's words made me hum softly, turning away from her once again.

"I'm sure that the minister and his workers know just as much as we do." Being honest it's a change that we know more than Fudge does. All he does is complain about stuff and then acts confused when stuff blows up in his face.

I'd be happy when everyone came to their senses and finally got him kicked out of there. For some reason my father favors him despite my obvious protest that he shouldn't. If Fudge had his priorities in check I doubt that Cedric Diggory would have been dead.
